Ideal Location with good leisure facilities

One of the best value for money hotels on Taipa.
Located on Taipa the Regency is a good distance from the bright lights of Venetian strip and Macau. However, if you want a quiter relaxing stay but only a short taxi ride to the fun and games, the Regency is ideal. The food is delicious especially the spare ribs a must for meat lovers. The staff are efficient and very friendly at all times and always willing to help. It has its own spa, pool with tennis and squash for the active visitor.

The top floor room had a great view and although rated 5 star is a little tired so 4 would be closer. The hotel staff were very helpful especially the door staff and concierge. Their English was not great but functional and at all times friendly. On Taipa island its a little out of the "action" of the Casinos but maybe that was a good thing. Great night time views of the main island lights and the Grand Lisboa Casino.

the breakfast is adequate nothing fanciful. the staff however are helpful. i rate this a 3 star hotel, value for money and recommended for those who are not too fussy and require a decent place to sleep and relax.

even thought the shuttle service is far from good, you can make use of the nearby hotles shuttle services to and from the pier and to the City of Dream. From there you can go to many places you want to go. The room is quite good if you weight it with the rate you pay.
Only a minute away, you can have your meal with reasonable price.

the place could use a facelift, theres no doubt about that but, it was comfortable and clean. in a good location between both areas of gambling and historic sights. a nice little reprieve from all of the new glitz and glamour hotels. we enjoyed our stay and would defiantly stay here again.

The hotel is a nice one. Good place to stay if you are on a budget. Only thing that is missing is a shuttle going to the hotel and vice versa. It gave us a hard time talking to the taxi drivers for the place.
