The location of the hotel is excellent. From there you can easily catch a bus or taxi to both sides of Macau, but close to the hotel there aren`t sightseeings.
From the apartments with harbour view you can see the Macau Tower and the bridges connecting Macau to the Taipa Island.
The negative point is that you have internet wifi only in the reception of the hotel, so you have to go down to connect your mobile/notebook and sometimes you can`t find a place to sit cause there are so many people in this area using the internet.

Five Star hotel at 2 star price
Value for money, location.
8.3
The hotel is on the island, it is not as crowded as peninsular and is ideal for relaxing holiday. We use bus to move around as bus stops outside the hotel can take of to the southest most of the Taipa/Coloane island, i.e Cheoc Van Bay and Hac Sa Bay with Bus 25, 26A. Bus No 30 take you to Macau Peninsular northern tip , ie Barrier Gate. The hotel is old but the room is big. Services is good and so are the breakfast buffets
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go to the Peninsular to see historical place like Ruins of St Paul. Try the pork chop buns that is near to the stair case. Art works displayed at the lobby of Grand Lisboa are wonderful. For Casino experience, try visit Venitian.

The room is small, but it is okay for tourist, because most of the time you are out. macau is actually very small, so it is very easy to take bus to go everywhere. staffs are nice and friendly. besides, there is a beautiful swimming pool in the garden. breakfast was soso, no free internet in the room, tv was not very good. oh, the bed is hard...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
there are two bus stations around. 33 could go to the old city. 25 could go to the casinos like the venician.
