Cosy and Friendly Hotel
Best location for food, covenient store, bus stop and near airport.
8.3
Hotel is a brand new & modern one, but it is very clean & complete with all necessity that we need. Nearby hotel surrounding with restaurants, convenient store and walking distance to McDonald fast food. Just across the road we found a buffet steamboat with very cheap and fresh meat & other foods. Must try! Last but not least, we sure stay again if we go to Macau in future, hotel's rate, services with smile is worth we pay.

kinda outdated amenities, no wifi
breakfast or dinner buffet, attendant was courteous
6.7
I would have liked this hotel better if there was free wifi access in the rooms and more options in Cable TV channels. Good points though for the Filipina service attendant who was very helpful and went out of her way to help us. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet meal and the wide variety of items they offered.

Standard Hotel without the Casino
Clean, Quiet and Affordable
6.3
the hotel is a little bit old but it is properly maintained. the room size is decent enough and has a good size bathroom. the area in taipa is a little bit off from the city center of macau but if you go there to play casino, it is walking distance to altira and a short cab ride to venetian hotel. breakfast is average. the internet connection is unstable.
Shopping Tip:
go to venetian hotel, so many good nice shops and good restaurants to choose from.

The hotel is showing its age but still good enough and well maintain. The rooms are very spacious and so as the bathrooms. Huge comfortable beds. They have a nice pool and free shuttle service to Macau ferry terminal.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go to Senado square where you can find a lot of shops to buy some souveneir items and to see also the Ruin of St. Paul church.

Comfortable and clean hotel
Comfortable and Clean Hotel Room
8.7
Recency Hotel is located in Taipa, and it is affordable compare with other 4 stars hotel. The room is big and clean, and also very comfortable.Hotel staffs are very very friendly and helpful.
Althought its location is not close to any tourist spot, but since Macau is not big, therefore, it is very convenient for us to take a public bus to go to the tourist spots nearby. The bus stop is just in front of the hotel. If you dont mind walking, you can walk around 15 minutes to the 官也街 where it has a lot of signature eateries shop in Macau. This hotel is located near to airport. A good choice if you don't want to rush from Macau city to airport to take a flight in the morning.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Ramen restaurant in this hotel is recommended by a few magazines. Worth to have a try may be?

Upon arrival at the hotel you will notice that it is a bit old but still comfortable anyway. We were upgraded to the Harbor View but honestly, it wasn't a scenic view but it was okay. Our room is big and all the usual features of a 3 star hotel are present (i.e. bathtub, hair dryer, toiletries, TV). It is near the bus stop but a bit far from the tourist spots since most of them are located at Macau Island. But if you prefer peace and quiet at night, this is a god place.

Maybe not the newest digs in town but...
Very accommodating front desk staff, housekeeping personnels and concierge. Clean rooms and a nice lobby.
8.7
We loved our stay at Regency Hotel. It was worth every dollar paid. The front desk staff was very accommodating and helpful. The concierge and housekeeping staff polite. The rooms were clean and we had a fantastic view of Macau. Although the hotel did not have airport transfer, we didn't mind because it was near the airport and we paid from airport to hotel.
Shopping Tip:
Must visit MOD Design Store near the steps of the Ruins of St. Paul for great original Macanese finds at reasonable cost.
Visit the Shrine of Mama Matsu also.
