Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Reasonable hotel beginning to improve
Swimming pool, garden setting
6.7
This hotel used to be a Hyatt Regency hotel and was the best family hotel in Macau. It came under new management about 8 (?) years ago and deteriorated rapidly - very poor and untrained service, poor restaurants, smoke-filled rooms, disrepair evident everywhere etc. Recently it has improved and although not back to its erstwhile glory it provides a reasonable stay. Service has improved as have the restaurants and the rooms are cleaner and generally in better repair. The swimming pool is excellent as ever, but the sports centre which features tennis courts and squash courts seems largely unused and unserviced. It would not take much to get it back to being a good family hotel, but at present it remains largely a short-stay place for those who come to gamble! For that it is well situated near but out of the horrific high-rise gambling inferno.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Short-term stay with beautiful swimming pool

Convenient location by the university
Convenient, staff friendly.

The hotel stay includes breakfast but the choices are rather limited e.g. I needed yogurt but it was not available until Indian food is served on a particular day.

Conventional yet comfortable
7.3
The hotel is a bit old yet clean and in good functional condition. Room is comfortable and of reasonable size but the single beds look a bit small at today standard. Don't expect great view but the swimming pool and internal furnishing of public area is nice. No shopping mall nearby. It gets all you need except a major drawback that there is no wifi.

very basic hotel but the pool is lovely. location is rather off all the attractions and taxi is almost the only means to go around the city. there is no direction at the pier to indicate the shuttle bus location! breakfast was basic but adequate. quality was good. considering the price, it was good enough for me.
Travel tip:
Take advantage of other 5 star hotel shuttle services to save some money on taxi!

Far from attractions, must take bus to the city central (bus station just outside the hotel). The hotel got some age, everything seems old.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Don't take taxi, take local buses, those goes to everywhere. The cheapest choice.

Lovely Hotel with great service
Great sized rooms with lovely harbour views
8.7
This would have been the grandest of hotels in its day before all the new larger casino styled hotels were built. Rooms are elegant if not a little dated, breakfast has a great selection & the general service from staff was great. The pool and sporting activities are great.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take the local 21a bus from opposite the hotel down to the beach at Bac Ha. Once there take the road that goes past all the white houses called The Peninusular to the very end. Here you will find a great ocean front walk that goes all around the cliffs. It is a lovely walk with great sea breezes to cool you down in the humid conditions.

i have been staying at this hotel already several times and
i was always very satisfied. if you have a problem or need some
information the people in charge will always try their best
to help and make your stay a pleasant and comfortable one.
i can recommend this to everyone who's looking for a comfortable
and good value budget hotel in a convenient location with public
transportation and taxi easily available.also, the airport and ferry pier on taipa island are only about 10 minutes away by car.
