A bit far from twon and inconvenience of trasportation
When I checked in the hotel, staff are quite nice and helpful. In general, the hotel is a little bit old but clean and tidy. When I get into the room, it has some unpleasent smell and the smell staying with me in the room for a whole night. The hotel is ok for a short stay like 1 night but not for a leisure vacation.

(1) Spacey room
(2) Nice view from the hilltop, and walking distance for great picture taking of the Macau bridge
(3) Good customer service & punctual shuttle bus service connecting to the city & harbour
(1) If there is a shade on the watching point, that would be greater for the photoshooting duing rainy day
(2) Need further improvement on the variety of food in the restaurant
Basically the hotel room is much spacey than what I had expected, and the front counter officer is very helpful. I had requested for a late check-out, and luggage storage service due to rainy day in Macau, and the requirement had been fulfiled perfectly. I definitely will bring my family to the same hotel on the next visit to Macau.

Its a decent hotel, but definately not a 5 star. More like a 3 star. The free shuttle bus around town is handy.
There is no free internet. You would expect that in a "5" star hotel. The television you have to pay for any English channels. And the hotel is a little out of the way.
The hotel is a nice place and is great value for Macau hence why we chose it. The rooms are comfortable enough, but are missing a few key things such as free wifi and a pool. The staff are friendly enough but not very up to scratch on their English. The hotel is a little out of the way but the free shuttle counter acts this. All is all if your on a budget this place is great, but Im sure there are more attractive hotels for a little more if you can stretch!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Use the free shuttles to get around and save a fortune on taxi fares. They go to all the Casinos!

reasonable price, free shuttle bus service to other hotels and major cities. Heaps of tv channels to select from.
Hotel facilities were not available, indoor pool, etc.
Over rated - its more a 4 start hotel than 5.
I stayed in this hotel for just 2 nights. The location was good. Must do the jogging route through the streets the hotel suggests to see the churches, temples and Macau tower. Only 5/10 minutes away from the main city and hotel provides free shuttle bus service every half hour. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

We got upgraded to Suite-rooms for adding MOP100, which is a good deal. It's a 1 bed-room & 1 living-room. The view of the bridge & sea from the window is great.
The hotel is old, need renovation. Not clean. It's rather far from the city-downtown. But taxi is cheap, only MOP20-40.
The hotel is old, definitely not 5 star. Not clean. But the rooms are big bcs we are upgraded to junior suite room. It far from the city centre where all the casino hotels are, but taxi is cheap, only about USD3.00 to city=centre.
Going around macau is easy, pls use the free shuttle bus to go around macau, specialy if want to go Taipa-citycentre back and fort.
Hotel Feature Tip : pls use hotel shuttle bus. otherwise, take taxi, which is easy to get. Just wait few minutes.

Nice and peaceful environment
Shuttle bus service
Riviera provides you a good relaxation because the hotel location is on the hill and from the window at night, you will see a wonderful scene of Macau tower/ 2 bridges. We also got free room upgrade and shuttle bus between downtown/ferry makes this trip quite convenient.
Hotel Feature Tip : Shuttle bus comes every 30 mins between hotel-downtown and ferry to HK: very punctual, the schedule of shuttle bus is at lobby
Hotel also has morning jogging tour to take you to attractions nearby, Walking to Ama Temple takes you about 15 mins

The view is great. Neat and clean.
Very inconvenient location.
Very inconvenint location. The surrounding is pretty much dead. There is no corner stall to even purhase some water. The staffs weren't as friendly. Staffs can be a bit difficult to communicate in english with. There was no complimentary drinking water, tea and coffee. Does not fit the 5 stars rating.

The view is superb and soothing
Quite a distance to the major casinos.
The front desk staff are very friendly and helful towards all of our requests and they even send someone up to assist us when we wanted to have our windows opened to air our room from our smokey cigarette odour in it. Very nice view of the Macau Tower and the Friendship Bridge at night. Uninterupted area with peaceful secenery and nice cooling breeze at night. Definately value for money for sure!

very very silence, seaview
Well maintained (looks a little old though), great view (from the Suite rooms), quiet - still accessible, close to a couple of sightseeing spots and away from dilapidating clutters of cement blocks in the city,The location is actually not bad, even though most web pages would put Riviera's accessibility to only 2 buses. In fact, via a short walk, one can get to another bus stop slightly downhill, and that stop has many buses serving. The view of Macau Tower (especially at night) from Riviera is also awesome.

Reasonable price and staff very helpful. Far away from shopping center and casino however there is hotel shuttle bus ready to serve you.
Nice Hotel after all.

Room is reasonable. Quite a large room. Room is a bit old but ok.
Hotel location is not too good. There is a shuttle bus every 30 mins, but only till about 10 at night. Not too convienient if you want to go out late ... e.g. casino hopping etc. Bus stop stop for pickup is a bit iffy. Pickup time at pickup point is not provided. Can walk from hotel to city centre but will take 15 mins. Or can take a taxi, but the taxi driver will not know the hotel... only a few taxi will know the hotel.

Free shuttle bus from pier ... but you will not find it. So not a pro actually. The shuttle service is quite obscure.
Poor Shuttle bus service considering its quite out of place.
Reasonable hotel, nothing special. A bit run down. Not many taxi will know this hotel. Need to have hotel number handy so you can ring to get directions. There is free shuttle bus service to city but it's not very convienient. The bus is not very frequent and there are no clear bus stop. It runs till 10 pm only - not very convienient. The city is 24 hours. It is possible to walk to city in about 10-15 mins.

nice view from the hotel with relaxing environment.
Staffs seems not so friendly.. but it's acceptable.
the location is just 10-15 mins walk from the famous casinos, like wynn, MGM, etc. You can have a quite place in Macao, as most of the hotels with casino are very noise...
Depends what you need. If you want a relaxing and budget holiday, it's one of the choices.

Has few stores inside the hotel building
Wireless seervice is not convenient. Rooms are very small.
They have wireless service available in the lobby area but no chairs to seat. Everyone was practically standing or seating on uncomfortable benches. Also they don't let you use any power outlet in case if your laptop batteries dies. Most hotels in Hong Kong has free shuttle service but this one doesn't. U have to rely on public transportation.
