Food, Drink and Entertainment
Vic's Cafe'
Desirable, delicious and delectable. The semi-open kitchen of Vic's Cafe is cooking up a storm. Sumptuous buffets and international a la carte are available for discerning palates. While the Asian and American breakfasts are a hot favourite, Vic's is also a magnet for seafood lovers; and offers prime cuts of Australian meat, too, served in a splendid airy, chandeliered interior or on the spacious, breezy terraces. A stylish English pub right next door sets off the experience a treat. Or opt for the intimacy of a private dining room for those special business or family occasions.

small & cosy with a nice view of the harbor. Bed are very comfortable.
The Rock hotel is small with not much of facilities but nice & clean good for couple wanted a quiet getaway, the location is not too far from town but prepare to walk a bit of distance. Kids will not appreciate but they will enjoyed the video games center at the fisherman wharf not too far from the hotel. I will surly go back for my next visit.

Staff not outgoing at all. Especially restaurant & bar staff. Front office staff were warmer on our last day.
We stayed 2 nights in April 2009. Our Deluxe room with a sea/harbor view was delightful. Plenty of room, really clean, nicely furnished with balcony and outside furniture. The bathroom was large, with bath and separate shower. Great fittings, nice towels, robes and a full range of accessories. The bed was not Thailand hard but firm and very nice linen. A/C worked well. We ate several meals in the hotel and I think they were just OK. The style and class of this hotel deserves a better restaurant and the staff are rather surly. The hotel is situated at the end of Fisherman's Wharf. This is a touristy area of expensive shops and some eating places. The Thai restaurant is good. The rest of the area on the Wharf is a poor copy of various European themes.
Restaurant Tip : The Thai restuarant on the wharf is very good.

Central Location
Well thought out decor
Lovely bathrooms
Good size room
Currently alot of building work nearby
Small room service menu
Less regular transport around Macau than other hotels
The Rocks Hotel is a great place to stay for a night when you want to explore Macau (especially if you like Fisherman's wharf), but due to the lack of swimming pool and small room service menu, I would not recommend a longer stay here.
