In order to enhance our product and service delivery to our clients, we had fully renovated our guestrooms, restaurants and public area in 2008, and now we will commerce to upgrade the hotel property by refurbishing the hotel facade. The project will start from April 2009. The first phase will be finished by August. 2nd phase will commerce from August onwards, and most of the work will be carried outside of the building. We will try our best to minimize the noise or any inconveniences caused to our guests. Looking forward to show the New Hotel Royal soon

Clean & neat interior with superb comfortable bed. I was impressed by the luxurious toilet and extremely happy the room is equipped with 42" LCD TV. It's like a holiday villa rather than just a room. Front desk officer showed some extent of impatient when i insisted to have a smaller Hong Kong currency change to pay for taxi fare upon arrival. The hotel is not located strategically at the hot spots of Macau. However, seeing Macau is comparatively small, it's convenient to take some 15 minutes walk to nearby attractions and you'll amaze with the living or architectures when you walk along the streets. The hotel bell boys and cleaners are polite and helpful. The pool and the gymnasium facilities are world class! Thank you Royal Hotel! Thank you.

good location if you want to feel and see the real macau; very friendly and helpful english-speaking staff; clean nice rooms housekeeping was a bit sloppy in keeping the room tidy and clean. assigned housekeeper was not meticulous in keeping up with standards. upon arrival at the hotel, my first impression was that the hotel was overrated and should only be classified as a 3-star hotel. the lobby was not as elegant as other star rated hotels in macau, neither its exterior facade and restaurants. but what impressed me was the room when we got in that i found very nice and beyond my expectation. the sheets and bed were very comfortable and it had all the amenities that of a five star hotel. Indeed i can say that royal hotel is a four star hotel with 5-star rooms.
Travel tip : I have stayed in many hotels in macau, and Royal Hotel is a new discovery that pleases my satisfaction level. I was looking for a hotel this time that should be far from the maddening crowd, but should also be in the heart of macau where you can feel and experience the pulse of old macau. For me i found the right place where i could go shopping and do sightseeing at the same.

Nothing much to comment about There is one of the waitress that serve me on the 24th Feb about 11pm is very helpful and friendly but i have forgotten her name to give her credit. Is very satisfied with the service of the staff working in the hotel. That is also why i chose Royal Hotel as the hotel i stayed in after reading all the review. I believe those people that have stayed in the same hotel agree with that.
