Just Refurbished with quality fittings
4-5 star hotel at budget price
8.7
hotel has been recently refurbished, hence a 'new' feeling. in room cable tv has lots of channels to cater for all taste - sports, business, current affairs, soapies, movies, etc
big room with quality furnishing exceptt shower is over the bath. the hotel and the room is clean. hotel staff friendly, speaks english (quite a few filipinos working there) with 24 hours security.
downside - inroom safe is not bolted to wall or furniture. however, they have individual safe at reception if you prefer.
about a 5-10 mins walk to downtown macau or approx 20 mop taxi ride (approx usd3). complimentary bus service stops at 930pm.

Hotel set back from all the casinos
Location, staff friendliness, shuttle bus
7.7
Excellent location, within walking distance to the old prt of Macau (st Paul's ruin, chapel & light house at guia hill & senado square) ... There's a free hotel shuttle bus to the airport, ferry terminal & other hotels / cainos on the island. Staff had limited English which makes communicating hard at times but other than that, great hotel.

The hotel has a free shuttle bus service that runs every 30 minutes for much of the day. The mattresses were very stiff.

Comfortable stay with reasonable price
9.3
It's been my uncountable times stay at this hotel. All I can say is - great. The room is comfortable as usual and the staff are friendly and helpful. And the price is always reasonable while comparing with other hotel. It's always my choice no matter for business or leisure stay.

Decent hotel and service with a smile
15mins walk to attraction, affortable price and comfortable room
9.3
This is my first time in Macau and Royal hotel really gives me a great memory for it. Royal hotel provides comfortable, tidy and clean room with affortable price. Two thumbs up for their great service such as shutter bus service, taxi rental, tips for attraction etc. I'm so surprise that they willing to spend times for each customer to explain their shutter bus schedule, discount ticket to Macau tower and many more. I'll definatelly recommend this hotel to my friends and family who visiting Macau.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
15 minutes walking distance to "Ruin of St. Paul". 5 minutes walking to neighbourhood restaurant. Free shutter bus from airport and attraction.

Pretty luxurious for the money
Comfortable, clean and bright. Good array of services. Huge comfy bed, powerful shower.
8.3
Highly recommend this hotel, it's near the casinos and the rooms are very nice.
Only problem was the doorman who clumsily pulled the handle off my girlfriend's suitcase.
Overall very good for the money (although for a couple of hundred extra a night we could have stayed in a casino, which we'll do next time!).
Hotel Feature Tip:
The breakfast items in the cafe in the lobby are great, as they come from starbucks but are half the price of the same thing in the casinos.

3 star hotel
Quiet, with a small garden outside
6.7
3-star hotel and price. walking distance to dutch street and other ancient streets. shuttle bus to the tower but no return. the hotel staff sells tickets to the tower even at mist evening and we totally wasted the money for those tickets by seeing nothing but mist at the top!!!
