value for money five star hotel. doesn't seem to charge five star hotel price maybe because it seems a little older. location is not too bad, walking distance to the main shopping area. transport also provided from airport, to cotai casinos and some tourist attractions, and also to the hong kong ferry terminal

nice service, great hospitality, nice and clean room, good location

The location was close to st paolo (within walking distance). The service was nice and they have great hospitality. The doorman helped us when we had trouble telling direction to a taxi driver.
Travel tip:
No wifi connection in the room. You need to go to the lobby for wifi.

Great location, nice clean hotel
4.7
We checked in late at the hotel and they could not give us a double room which was a bit disappointing, instead they gave us a twin room.
The room was spacious but the duvet was a bit dirty! Also the beds were quite hard. However as we were only staying one night we did not complain as it was only minor and was on top of duvet and with the price of the room we were not bothered too much, we checked in late so just wanted to sleep.

great hotel for the price ,

The room was a good size, clean and comfortable for the price . Transportation a bit difficult and the tv lacked sufficient channels or perhaps was too lazy to operate it properly . The chinese restaurant was quite expensive relatively speaking for Macau and the food expensive for what I ordered specially compared to the restaurants in the casinos. However the casino restaurants are than likely subsidized.

great place to stay
friendly staff, great location, comfortable rooms

Royal Hotel is a comfortable hotel with friendly staff members being able to speak cantonese, mandarin and english. Although the food in the hotel is quite disappointing, in the end it doesn't really matter because once you walk out of the hotel, there are plenty of great places to eat within short walking distances. Also, the shopping is great with plenty of clothing stores within a short walking distance as well. Overall i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Comfort with nice price.
Location is quite unique!
6.3
The hotel is located at the ordinary Macauness living area. I like this kind of hotel more than those big casino hotel. It sits on a hill. so you can walk and excise your body to the Grand Lisbon or the walking street. They are all in 15 minutes walks.
