Great Hotel and friendly service
Lovely lobby lounge, nice clean rooms and great central but not tourist location

My company was invited to Macau for a conference at Tap Seac Square which is across the street from the hotel. The location couldn't have been any better for us being a 1 minute walk from the lobby. But the hotel was a 10 minute walk from the touristy areas with shopping and historical sites. The rooms were nice and clean. Housekeeping did a great job, they noticed that I drank lots of water and left me extra water daily without me having to ask. The lobby lounge was a nice place to meet in the morning with our included breakfast which had a range of western and eastern breakfast options. Everyone spoke excellent English.My only con was that the pool and fitness club was under renovation, so it was completely out of service. Over all it was very nice and I would definitely stay there again if I find myself in Macau.

we were in macau for business the hotel is an excellent location if your want to be near the tap seac multisport complex, which we did. the staff's english was excellent. breakfast had delicious options. i would stay here again.

Lovely hotel with good services

i felt welcome in this hotel. great services but the location is a bit far from city center. having said that, the free and regular shuttle bus services do earn the credit back.
i like the 4-8pm free tea break session with unlimited drink which including the alcoholic drinks. able to rest and relax in the lounge after a long day walk around the city center before the night walk.

Budget hotel with some facilities

we travelled to macau on an extremely busy weekend. so we ended up paying 3 times the normal rate for royal hotel. assuming you have to pay the normal rate, this is an okay hotel. location wise only one block away from the lisboas and wynns. with so many world class hotels in macau these days, royal should be a hotel for the budget traveller.

Good location and enjoyable stay
The location is good, it is located at a nice, quiet area away from all the buzz. However, it is also within walking distance to the attractions.

We like the location very much and it is not a casino hotel so there are not so many visitors loitering around the hotel lobby. The service is good and the room is clean and nice.
There are many cheap and good eating places around the hotel and not a problem to go to Venetian or Taipa with the free shuttle.
We had a very enjoyable stay in Macau.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Visit Taipa village, it is worth a visit.

Up to standard hotel with good staff

Because the casino is just small and it is a bit from the buzz the rest of the hotel is very good. Especially for that price and still close to main casinos. Pitty the swimming pool was closed.

Clean and comfortable hotel in old town Macau
Concierge Andy was extremely courteous and helpful in our queries about Macau life and attractions. Buffet breakfast is varied and plentiful.

Deluxe room was comfortable and clean. Third person had a pullout bed which made the average sized room feel cramped, but it was comfortable.

Well presented hotel, clean rooms
Good price, free internet, and frendly service

Rooms were very clean and nice size, free shuttle bus to most locations in Macau.
Lobby provided free wifi, and rooms had free broadband internet.
Only con with the hotel was the limited taxi service, hotel is located on a smaller street, so fewer taxi's passed through.
Other than that it was a great stay.

So far so good only. Not as deluxe as imagine. The casino in the hotel also very small. But the services quite good. ok lah...good,
