Beautiful hotel, with exceptionally friendly staff
9
although the royal is a little further from the 'action' in macau, the low-cost of cabs and the free shuttle service make it a non-issue.
the front desk and concierge so friendly, helpful and absolutely delightful to deal with. they were among the best i have come across.
the hotel breakfast buffet had a good selection, the in-room cable channels were good, and the hotel provided free wifi in the foyer. the only downside for us was that the hotel pool and gym were undergoing renovations (one of the reasons we wanted to stay there was we needed access to a gym, but nevermind...)
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you want fitness facilities, call the hotel first to see if their renovation is complete. Their 'temporary gym' is 3-4 pieces of cardio equipment in an empty hotel suite.

Lovely hotel and service
Smiling faces and helpful concierge
8
i love the hotel for the cleanliness of the room and service from the concierge who gave us abundant of advices on how and where to go in macau.
unfortunately we are not able to enjoy the swimming pool as it was under renovation.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We went around Macau on our own. Macau is a small country and practically you can go around by walking. Macau Tower is very nice. Dont forget to go to Vinetia where you can see a beautiful paint of sky on the shopping centre.
At night walked around Lesboa Casino, Wynn Onn hotel to see musical fountain at 8pm (best performance) and inside the hotel a tree show.

Nice Hotel
Minutes away from the shopping street
9.3
Located at a high ground. Staffs are very friendly and mainly from Philippines, as such, English is not a problem. Room furnitures are quite new and good. About 5 minutes walk to the shopping streets where you can buy plenty of goodies. Only set back is you will need to spare about 5 mins to wait for a taxi during off peak and longer time during peak hours.Breakfast is good as compare to a couples of hotels in Macau whuch I had stay previously. Can consider staying in this hotel in my next visit.

Convenient Location
Convenient location with a reasonable price
9
i stayed in this hotel whenever i go to macau. as i always recommend to my friends and colleagues, this hotel's location is really convenient with a very reasonable price. the rooms are tidy, clean and spacious. however, you have to put up with a bunch of noisy crowds at the lobby or sometimes outside your room. beside that, it's really a great hotel.

Lovely hotel and service with a sm
10
A nice hotel near the shopping area. Large rooms, nice bathroom, very comfortable bed. Good breakfast service and the best espresso I had on the entire Macau-vacation. And it was quiet area. For the price we paid I would definitely recommend this hotel. Downside is location. It is not as close to the shopping centres as the other more expensive hotels nearby. But it isnt a long walk. And it is quite near Casinos.

Very good hotel with excellent service
Great service, beautiful room, airport and ferry shuttle service
9.7
great service from bell boys to reception. very helpful in giving instructions to move around. beautiful room and looking out to a garden. too bad stay was only for a night. shuttle service was organised and on time. quiet hotel as it's not near the main road. great location, near to many famous eateries, within 15 mins walking distance.

this hotel is suitable for family travel together.
the room condition is good.
the only problem is the hotel location is quite far from restaurant.
because of the hotel prepare the shuttle bus, it is easy for us to go around the macau island.
the service is very good. the hotel staff are so nice.

Friendly service
location close to the cafes
7.7
pleasant stay with a well known local cafe around the corner for breakfast. recommend the pork bun. close to other restaurants about 5-10 min's walk. if you check in late, suggest you eat elsewhere as most of the cafes closeby close early. otherwise you need to walk further.
Hotel Feature Tip:
I arrived Macau by the Taipa Terminal and took the shuttle bus back to the Main Termainal Ferry. I didn't notice any shuttle bus signs available for the 'Hotel Royal' so we walked ourselves in as it looked very close on the map. Good walk if you are not carrying luggage and wearing sneakers, but otherwise highly suggest you ask for the Hotel Royal shuttle bus location which is available at the Main Ferry Terminal!!
