I had a wonderful stay at hotel Royal macau, the price was a bargain.
Hotel was clean, location was decent (about a 15 minute walk to nearest casino, cabs were available throughout the day and a shuttle bus service was also provided.
The rooms were clean and decent sized, the staff were both friendly and helpful.
Only downside is the wireless internet in the hotel, it doesnt seem to work very well, aside from that it was a fantastic trip.

very friendly staff and great english and communication. great location with everything within walking distance - markets, shopping, eateries and casinos. the hotel shuttle bus took us everywhere else we wanted to go. great indoor pool facilities and nice little gaming area to chill out.
Shopping Tip:
Go shopping in the town centre. About a 10 min walk from the hotel. Great deals and bargains!!

i have booked 4 deluxe rooms for 1 night stayed. they have gave us the connecting room for both 2 rooms as we requested on agoda which is great service. check in was easy and pleased. staff was friendly and helpful in provide tour and direction information. there is free shuttle bus provide from hotel to guests to certain tourist attractions and ferry terminal. there is one local small chinese restaurant next few row to the hotel which can get nice breakfast and there is one nice chinese restaurant just across the rood which can get nice chinese cuisine food for lunch and dinner. the rooms are comfort and clean as what its exactly shows on internet. overall stayed was satisfied.

The neighbourhood is relatively quiet but not too far from sights

the hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood 10~15 minutes walking distance from the casino cluster and main sights on macau peninsula. there's some great parks nearby and a plaza right in from of the hotel. the small but decent (non-smoking) casino in the hotel is good for the sleepless. the room is spacious and clean.

Reasonably priced hotel with big rooms

We arrived at Royal Hotel from HK and as expected the staff were friendly and accommodating. We emailed the hotel earlier to inquire about transfers to and from the terminal and the guest services officer was kind enough to send all the details including the schedule of the shuttle. They also granted our request to give us two adjoining rooms which is important for us as we do not want to be separated from our children.
The Deluxe Twin rooms are huge coming from a standard hotel in HK.
The hotel is quite far from the center of attraction which is in Taipa but this is compensated by a shuttle service (one in the morning and another in the afternoon) or alternatively a shuttle to the ferry terminal and connect you to other hotels in Taipa. There are restaurants in the area but if you are the choosy type, you can take the shuttle which leaves every 30 minutes and bring you to your area of choice.

I second this hotel .... stay comfortable! location is acceptable. But first, Macau Ferry Terminal to wait for a group of feeder buses Haonai .... Hao Wu convenient!!!
