as most of you may know, it's always hard to find taxi in macau and as a traveler, the buses route are just too complicated to understand. well, royal hotel just had a perfect location than it's only a walking distance from hotel to city centre. the room is tidy, but the only thing is lighting is a bit too dark. the services are good too. as whole, i had a good experience during my stay!

Definitely an over rated 5 stars hotel

Pictures didnt match what our room actually was. It's quite disappointing honestly if you expect to see a real 5 stars hotel. The room was small, the view was right in front of an empty old building....nothing like what you see on pictures. Beds were comfortable, shower in the toilet was okay. Location was ok u probably will have to expect a good 10 minutes walk from the center of town. I think I would give it a three or three and a half stars at most.

Clean and Convenient Hotel
The hotel is not too far from City Centre and we can get to the busiest district in 15 mins walking. The rooms are clean with reasonable size.

The hotel got only a small entertainment sector that attracts less Mainlanders. So it is not too crowded and the room are clean and of reasonable sizes. There is not too much facilities here and the shuttle are not too regular. However,as Macau is a small place, most spots of interest can be accessible within a short walking distance.

the hotel is located not so far away from macao ferry terminal and gongbei port which make it a very nice choice for the solo traveler.
the rooms are clean and the front desk people are nice and helpful.
very near by many macao's historical attractions such as guia fortress,the portuguese style buildings, so on...

The hotel check-in was a breeze and the rooms was of a good size and fittings are new. Situated in a hood location, walking distance to Senado Square and many others. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Will definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.
