Great location with friendly staff

The area nearby the hotel is a great place to walk around as there are many shops located by the side. There is also a mini casino located inside the hotel. The staff is also very friendly.

The location of this hotel is not so bad actually, a 15-20 min walk from the Macau city center.
Restaurant Tip:
The bakery in the lobby sells amazing egg tarts. Better and cheaper than the ones in the Venetian.

Elegant Hotel In The Old Part Of Town
Elegant lobby, clean and cosy room, nice breakfast. Free bus shuttle to the Venetian area and to the port.

Very impressed with the hotel and the staff when we first check in. Good value for the rate that we paid. No downside as far as the property was concerned.
Location was just about 'so-so'. Surrounded by fairly old (functional, not charming) old buildings.

Excellent room service, ordered extra towels, promptly delivered. Ordered ginger chicken with veggies and rice, and it came with excellent Miso soup - all delicious.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
In Macao I also visit clients at the casino strip and I liked not having to stay overnight in a casino environment. I found very convenient to stay at the Royal Hotel as they have a free shuttle bus running to the Venetian Hotel.

cleanliness was key and service was excellent. Was surprised that most of the ground staff spoke understandable english which wasn't the case once I was out and around town. Also that most cab drivers were familiar with it. A pity though that the hotel didn't have many facilities to keep guests occupied/entertained. A hotel for those looking for a comfortable clean stay in old area of Macau.

Good Hotel at Great Location

We stayed at the Royal Hotel Macau for one night and we greatly appreciate the concierge who offers a tour package at an affordable price. Facilities at the hotel quite nice that there is free wifi in the hotel lobby and there are many food choices for breakfast. To go to Senado Square is very close, just walk away and there are seven eleven next to the hotel.
