Great service, comfortable rooms, location ok

when we arrive about 11am, the staff response very fast and let us check in at 12 noon, at least we have a very good rest before we going out. the room very clean. very good location, take 10 to 15 minute to walk down the street and very friendly staff.
Nightlife Tip:
In Macau, this is a very good night life trip for people who love it.

I find the hotel is situated in the city but up on the hill nearer to some less noisy residential location. The location is great and only a couple of minutes walk to St. Paul. Nice!

The hotel is nice and the price is reasonable. But is just a bit far from town area and the place is not easy to get taxi. Sometimes need to wait for more than 15mins. The hotel room is very clean and tidy. The chinese restaurant in the building is quite good.

Hotel Royal is a good selection if you travel to Macau. The room rate is reasonable but the service is excellent. It is located in the Macau Peninsula. Though it is not very close to famous casinos like Lisboa, Wynn and MGM Grand, it is still a walkable distance to reach these tourist attractions.
Anyway, it is still a good choice at a very attractive price.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Casinos like Grand Lisboa, MGM Grand and Wynn. Cantonese food and snacks near the hotel.

We check-in quite late after mid-night, and staff was kind and polite. Free upgrade to top floor room. Room and bed is good size and comfortable. Toilet is clean and tidy as well. Generally very good as the hotel was refurnished not long ago.
Location is next to the city center, which is ideal for us who like quiet places. Recommend for everyone who like to stay far from place which is way too busy.
Will come back again.

The free shuttle service runs every half hour to the major casinos and the ferry terminal.
Next to the hotel is a local market with interesting food stalls and fresh fruits.

i enjoyed my stay at the royal hotel. it's very affordably priced for macau. it's about a 15 minute walk from central macau. it's about a 10 minute cab ride to most of the casinos. if you are looking at getting great value in macau, and not set in staying at one of the big casino hotels, i'd recommend this hotel.
