Good Value For Money

Good Location
6.7
We booked the Deluxe room with breakfast & stayed three nights at Royal Hotel. The free shuttle bus service to most of the attractions is a big plus point, though we were not very happy for the long queue to get into the cafe for breakfast every morning!

Disappointing experience

Concierge and reception staff helpful, room quite nice
5
We werequite disapointed with this hotel. Whilst the reception/concierge staff were nice the rest of the staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. They would completely ignore any request. The breakfast room was not large enough and so there was up to a 20min wait to be seated. Only one of us got offered tea or coffee for breakfast and when I requested a tea they once again ignored me. At check in they provide a schedule of where the hotel shuttle supposedly stops at. We wanted to take this shuttle to Fisherman's Wharf however when we tried it only stopped at the ferry terminal and then went straight back to the hotel. This happened again when we caught it to the ferry terminal to leave. Overall, very disappointing and will not be staying at any Hotel Royal again.

We had a great time in this hotel. The rooms are clean and the staffs are very friendly. They guided us during our stay and helped plan our tours.

Affordable 5-Stars hotel

One of the best value for money 5-stars hotel

front desk staff speaks good english and are very courteous and helpful. some of the rooms have bad views of some ugly looking incomplete buildings. facilities of the rooms are good, though they are certainy not of the high standards of other more expensive 5-stars hotels in macau.

Great room and breakfast and location

Their breakfast buffet is very well spread, their bed is very comfy

we stay on the 17th floor which was the highest and the view is wonderful looking across many parts of macau. is convenient with a 7-eleven just downstairs. shutter buses to most places. the room is very comfortable and everything is clean including the toilet. like the bed which is huge and so comfortable is hard to wake up in the morning. good walking distance to guia lighthouse and st paul ruins. overall a very good hotel.

The hotel didn't provide double bed as requested. Poor compensation and small room offered.

Affordable hotel with general good services.

Central yet quiet location; good concierge service.
9.3
We checked in late at nlght, but were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a family studio room from our booked deluxe room. After check-in, the concierge staff was very helpful to give us guidelines on city tour, food and shopping. The studio room has been renovated and the toilet is spacious and clean. The hotel provides free shuttle service to the central Macau ferry terminal as well as to major resort hotels and casinos in the city. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay at the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: If you are into casinos, then this is a good hotel to stay. You can easily arrange for a reasonably-priced day tour of the city from the hotel. To explore more, some major attractions are within 5 to 15 minutes walk from the hotel. You can also take the hotel shuttle to some major resort attractions like the Venetian and the City of Dreams.

Nice location away from the casinos

Accessible, near the shopping belt

We enjoyed our stay! Fantastic service, great location as it is near the city centre! They had a good spread for breakfast! The indoor pool was a bonus especially since it's winter.
Travel tip: There are a few cafes around the hotel that's cheap and good, but they close pretty early.

Great hotels

Good condition and comfort

I love this hotel. Not a walking distances to other casino, but very close to a very good restaurant called a hacienda, if the name is not mistaken. Just ask the concierge to find the best macau restaurant close to this hotel. It's nice. The hotel itself is very clean and smells good.

room is cosy and comfortable. the toilet is well equipped with hair dryer and extra mirror. the tv has a variety of channels if you do not feel like going out.
Shopping Tip: Its a very convenient location to stop by and rest before transiting to Zhuhai the next day for shopping.
