Opposite the hotel there have a restaurant is quite good. Can go there have a try on the "Chu Chai Pau".

Good size room, well maintain & clean
away from main casino area... yet accessible

This is my second time staying at Royal hotel... good quiet location, small but yet efficient hotel.
Service is good, breakfast is above average but slightly pricy. Casino is little but good enough for causal gambler like me... room is clean & well maintain but sound proofing between rooms are bad... overall a 4.3 out of 5 for me... cheers

Affordable 5 star hotel in Macau
Rooms are clean and in good condition, hotel is quiet, price is great considering how expensive other 5 star hotels are in Macau

Just another great stay at the Royal Hotel. I've stayed here many times before and it's never disappointed. This is just a solid hotel, and a good place to stay while in Macau. If you're looking for the resort-type casino hotels like the Venetian, look elsewhere. As you do also be prepared to spend more per night.

Good Hotel
quiet area but the transport was great (i.e. courtesy bus) taxis on hand and only about 10 minute stroll to tourist area which was a really lovely and very enjoyable walk letting us see the non tourist area

had a lovely stay at this hotel. the staff were very helpful and the restaurant was really good and the rooms very quiet. had a lovely afternoon nap with no disturbance.

check-in is between 2 to 3 pm, if you are early than have to wait.
Good bus service to the various locations in the city, which is very useful and 2 services daily to COTAI.
Small casino in the hotel also, nothing like the big Casinos..but can get a feel of the environment.
Taxis are readily available and reasonable.
Hotel Feature Tip:
check-in is between 2 to 3 pm.

Good hotel, not so good location

Overall experience here was pretty good. The room is nice, the location is quiet and the services are good. If you want to spend much of your time in Macau visiting sites of historical interest, then you will find the location of this hotel is quite convenient. If you are going for the casinos, this hotel is a bit obscure. Although on the map, it seems the hotel is quite near the casinos, but it is hard to find your way around that neighbourhood. Shuttle service only to the ferry terminal.

hotel location is good nearby shopping centre easy to find the restaurants,7-11 and supermarket but small rooms . hotel staff very helpful and friendly with smile. if can will be try to stay again and recommend to my friend/family but must upgrade to premier deluxe room will comfortable. suitable for sightseeing,shopping and attractions travelers.
