We have stayed in several hotels in Macau and we found Royal Hotel to be one of the best in terms of money and convenience. This is an ideal hotel for those traveling with young children because there is an indoor swimming pool and playground nearby. We would recommend those visting Macau to stay in this hotel. We plan to come back in the near future.

This is my second time staying at Royal hotel... good quiet location, small but yet efficient hotel.
Service is good, breakfast is above average but slightly pricy. Casino is little but good enough for causal gambler like me... room is clean & well maintain but sound proofing between rooms are bad... overall a 4.3 out of 5 for me... cheers

Affordable 5 star hotel in Macau
Rooms are clean and in good condition, hotel is quiet, price is great considering how expensive other 5 star hotels are in Macau

Just another great stay at the Royal Hotel. I've stayed here many times before and it's never disappointed. This is just a solid hotel, and a good place to stay while in Macau. If you're looking for the resort-type casino hotels like the Venetian, look elsewhere. As you do also be prepared to spend more per night.

quiet area but the transport was great (i.e. courtesy bus) taxis on hand and only about 10 minute stroll to tourist area which was a really lovely and very enjoyable walk letting us see the non tourist area

had a lovely stay at this hotel. the staff were very helpful and the restaurant was really good and the rooms very quiet. had a lovely afternoon nap with no disturbance.

Good bus service to the various locations in the city, which is very useful and 2 services daily to COTAI.
Small casino in the hotel also, nothing like the big Casinos..but can get a feel of the environment.
Taxis are readily available and reasonable.
