Good service, conveniently located.

I am very happy with the service provided by the staffs. Unfortunately, it would be better if shuttle service is extended to and from airport. Location is just fine as walking down the streets, I can do some shopping and have my meal conveniently. If given another chance, I would like to stay in the same hotel and perhaps recommend same to my friends who visit Macau.

Macau is the casino city, so The city is live untill early morning. The lamps in the night are many colour, it was very attractive. Seven eleven shop is near from Royal hotel, so If I buy someone, i only cros a way from Royal hotel.
The receiptionist are very pleasant and can speak English.

Enjoyable stay
Warm and helpful hotel staff. Buffet breakfast spread was very good. Hotel provides shuttle to and from Macau International Airport. Loved the free internet service.

Although we stayed only a night before transferring to Mandarin Oriental, the hotel staff impressed us with their smiles and helpfulness. The room we stayed in was cosy and clean. There is a 7-eleven outlet and a local eatery just next to the hotel and you can take a 10-15 minutes walk to Guia Fortress nearby.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Be prepared to climb up the steep road leading to Guia Fortress and wear comfortable walking shoes.

We had a good time at Royal. Room was clean. We got an upgrade to premier room and it was nice to sit downstairs in the lobby lounge having tea and some beer.
Breakfast was sufficient. Free internet access was great but if you have two computers, suggest that one use the cable and the other wireless. Seems an issue with the two computer accessing wireless internet.
Overall, awesome value....

i arrived at midnight and no one was available to open help carried down my luggage from taxi, open the main lobby door, least of all, after i checked in, none of the receptionist offer to deliver the luggage up to my room. , mattrass is very hard. but room size is very roomy and comfortable.

I had a very good stay at this hotel. I originally only booked for 3 nights but decided to extend my stay much further. The room was very spacious and furnished to a high specification. The bed was very comfortable indeed unlike many hotel beds in Asia. I slept very well here. All the rooms have free high speed cable internet which was very convenient for me. Most other hotels in Macau charge for internet service. There was a safe in the room and also complimentary coffee and tea making facilities. My room also had a very nice bathroom with many complimentary accessories. The rooms are clean and very quiet. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a hotel that meets basic requirements for accomodation. Feels safe, good staff on hand. Front desk was helpful, even provided some change when didn't have smaller bills. They were also upfront and apologetic about possible noise from renovations daily from 11am-6pm, during which I was not in the room anyway.
Concierge was a little bit insistent and pushy on selling tickets (albeit discounted) to the Macau Tower, although he did provide a map and provided helpful queries on other places to go.
Not that many taxis pass through the street where the hotel is. Although, there are shuttles to the casinos.
In the end though, experiences of the casinos, sightseeing and shopping will likely be more memorable than the hotel, which just needs to be value for money.
One quibble is that - the bed is very firm. Which may or may not be too your liking.
