A 5 star hotel with resonable price. truly value for money. Hotel and room are new and clean. The location is quite ok. about 10-15 min walk to the attraction and shopping area. But when you back to hotel, you need to climb quite a distance of slope and quite tiring. I'll still come back to this hotel when I go to Macau again.

Royal Hotel MACA
Location, clean, great value for money, family friendly.
9.7
We have stayed at Royal Hotel before, and we'll stay there again. They get a "tick" in every box for us. The Premier room on 15/F was clean, the buffet breakfast was excellent, the staff were very attentive. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel. It is excellent value for money.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The indoor heated swimming pool, be aware if you have young children they need to be supervised very closely as the "shallow" end of the pool is still 1.2m deep.

Royal Hotel Macau - a good choice
Friendly staff
Clean and spacious rooms
Near city centre
8.7
I stayed with my family at Royal Hotel Macau for three nights and totally enjoyed our stay there. The staff - front office receptionists, concierge, bell-boys and house-keeping workers - are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious.
A plus point is the shuttle bus service that starts from 8.35 am to 9.35 pm, plying the hotel, casinos and Macau Ferry Terminal, every 30 minutes. However, hotel guests are allowed to board the bus only at the hotel or the terminal.
Take a 20 minutes walk to the city centre and then to Senado Square where the major attractions are. Along the way you will see many heritage buildings.
We will stay in this hotel again on our next visit to Macau.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take a walk to the city centre and then to Senado Square.

Good hotel at very reasonable cost
Nice hotel with good facilities.

Excellent hotel with such a reasonable cost comparing to other hotels in Macau of the same standards. just only a few minute walk to the Ruin St. John Church and Senado Square.

anyone that is looking for a great hotel for the price that won't break your bank, this is the hotel for you! The staff is very friendly and hands everything to you with both of their hands (says that they pay close attention to details when being trained). The rooms are spacious and comfortable, makes you feel like home.

Great Location, great room, great price
Clean room, clean bathroom, good service, close to the market which you can try out lot of local foods,

I would give it a 4.5 out of 5. I will pay it a second visit. If you don mind paying for the taxi, it is certainly a good place to live. They have only 1-2 shuttle buses running from the hotel to the barrier gate and ferry terminal and then back to the hotel. therefore it takes time to get on The shuttle bus. I will recommend this hotel to my friends.

Nice room, flexible service, still under construct
Nicely remodled and up to date rooms. Good value for money. Hotel shuttle bus around town is a nice service.
7.7
Wi-fi wasn't available in my room but corded Internet access was available (cord was too short to reach the bed). Internet was slow and not reliable.
Construction still going on near the bottom floors.
Nicely remodled and up to date rooms. Good value for money. Hotel shuttle bus around town is a nice service. I appreciated that they allowed early check in and late check out.
Rosco's restaurant on the corner opposite the hotel was a nice and reasonably priced alternative to the hotel restaurant.
Restaurant Tip:

I had a good stay...
newly renovated, comfortably convenient, large bathroom and cozy bed, polite and helpful staff, free shuttle bus to casinos and ferry terminal
8
Overall, it was a good stay at the hotel. Staff at 1st tried to convince us to upgrad, with further charge, to a deluxe room or something, but just keep going with what had been booked, it turned to be just sastifying enough.
Unless you want to pay heaps of money and stay right upstairs the casino, this hotel would be a good choice for visiting and sightseeing Macau..
A bunch of little attractions around the location (chinese garden, walking distance to St. Paul Ruins, etc., would be just easy and nice to enjoy.
Book this if you go Macau, not only for gambling... (even for that, taxi and bus just work well)
Hotel Feature Tip:
ask for the shuttle bus (free) to ferry terminal, airport...
Remember to use the recreational facilities, they are good too!
