Further to my review below (we stayed at the Royal Hotel 2 times) I can add that there is in-room wired Internet access - slow, around 100 kbit/s, but stable as compared to Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is not availaible in the rooms other than Premier or Suites.

My family enjoyed our stay in this hotel. In my opinion, this is better than most hotels we've stayed at. The rooms are nice and clean. All the hotel staff (front desk, concierge and bell hop) were very helpful and accommodating. The location is also good. The hotel site is not a very busy area which I like. You just need to take short walks (10-15 mins) to see tourist attractions, e.g. The Ruins of St. Paul, Senado Square and Guia Fortress. The hotel also provides free shuttle service for added convenience to their guests. I will definitely book this hotel again on my next visit to Macau.

Great location, comfortable room, accomodating and efficient staff

The hotel is near to everythinng in the Old Macau, just 10 minutes walk to Largo do Senado. The casinos are nearby as well. Our room was very comfortable for a 6 night stay, the bed was fantastic! Shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes to the ferry terminal and twice a day to Taipa. Overall, highly recommended!
