value for money, nice rooms check in time was fixed, can't check in early
my frens and i went to the hotel and we got a free upgrade, which was quite surprising to us as we nv had one before, the room was small, just like any hk/macau hotel, but it was reasonably nice and comfy, the only problem was the check in time, we can only check in after 3 even tho we reached much earlier... but its overall a nice hotel, with shuttle bus going to most of the casinos just that coming back u'll need a taxi if after shuttle bus hours, or take to ferry terminal to change to shuttle bus if you wanna save money :)

value for money, nice rooms i like the hotel a lot, it's very clean, very upscale, reasonable price. fr ferry terminal to the hotel it takes about 20 mins by taxi. if we take bus we won't be able to find it cos it's hidden on a hill, the view was ok, cos it overlooks a very small garden with a sea of building. eateries in the hotel is great but a little pricey. Excellent service though. recommend for ppl who like to take their time slow.

Location and the Shuttle Bus Service The tourist leaflet seems to be not available in the Hotel areas. Basically, location is good. It is near the major tourist spot within walking distance. Also, around that ares, it is quiet. There are quite a number of eating places for tourist.
Room condition is good. Clean and cosy.

Location close to everything. Free Shutle bus to Venetia,Ferry station.Cheap. Standard room not pefectly maintained.Building consruction behind the hotel.Fasade construction renovation.Noise.
All neiberhood is under construcion and Hotel as well covered wuth protection net.That spoils all impression of hotel.Noisy in day time,but we spent all our time outside .For the rest you will get standard room with all facilities in walking distanse of Macao downtown for the good price.
Restaurant Tip : We used to have breakfast and sometimes dinner in cafe at the corner of the street just opposit to Hotel.It serves Macao ,Portuges food and open till 02am.

Royal hotel is situated in a convenient location. the staff is friendly and helpful, able to provide for requests such as late chk out. breakfast is not impressive but you can get nice food around the vicinity.

the room facilities r kindda old. but room is quite big. the TV set sucks!!!
goddamn poor service. especially, the staff of the reception.I won't choose the hotel for stayin' next time. they're not qualified as a five star hotel. even the service in a motel is much better than this one!!!! Trust me or u should experience urself. the location is not bad for shopping and dinning. quite convient that they provide the shuttle bus around the old town. but once again!!! The service sucks! i'll definitely NOT choose this hotel next time!!
Nightlife Tip : there's a casinoin the hotel named macha. kindda small but if u're the freshman for gambling. u should try ^^

Clean, Spacious, Value for money Location not so convinient To my surprise, it's rated as a 5 star hotel but managed to get it at a very reasonable price.
Hotel condition is superb. Clean and confortable, fully equiped and even providing internet cables for laptop users and also international power adapters.
Location is slightly inconvinient, had to take taxis. There's a morning market within walking distance and can taste the some local foods for breakfast.
Shuttle bus service from ferry terminal to the hotel every 30 minutes, so it's convinient for those that travelled by ferry.
Staff wise, very inconsistent. Encountered an incident where 1 of the female staff was very helpful to the western guests but when I(being an asian, yellow skinned) asked for directions, she was not helpful at all.
No comment on the food as didnt dine there

the interior is good, excellent place, reasonable price. location is slightly futher from tourist attractions value for money. the in-house restaurants are great, the room is new and grand. Luv it. location is a bit out, need to walk about 20 mins to visit main tourist spots. nearby got a few local cafes.

v clean, excellent service. the room was spacious compared to Hong kong standard. the decor was grand and classy. staff were very friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the food there and their cake shop sells this wonderful lemon tart. My kids love them. the location is a bit out of town, but it's not too bad cos for a bout 20 mins walk we reach the city centre already.

nice room very clean, staff very friendly not many restarants outside the hotel. we had a wonderful stay there, room was clear, staff was friendly. since other hotels are mostly overpriced, i think this hotel is of great value. of course, that was compensated for its locaiton as it's not as accessible as the others. the famous lighthouse is about 20 mins walk up steep hill, casinos are a bit far fr the hotel. but generally its a nice hotel for family cos its far fr all those crowded tourist places.

The room is bigger than the one i stayed in hongkong and there is a view which i get to see a garden. the air con is hot and when i was staying there the hotel was under renovation making it very noisy. about the casino the hotel only have slot machine My stay at Royal hotel is quite an experience for me because is my first time to macau. First of all about the hotel the selling point to me is the hotel rating is 5 star and the price is very reasonable compared to other hotels in macau and hongkong. My first impression of the room is 'WOW' because the room which i was staying have a really nice view. The staff over there is very friendly and the location of the hotel is also good because it only took me 15min by walk to st. paul ruins. to me the hotel only need improvement on the casino because there is only gaming slot and no table but it only took me 10 min walk to lisboa hotel for gambling. hehe
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : i went to st paul ruins ... it only took me 15 mins walk and along the road to st paul ruins. there is alot of souvenier shop. by the way there is alos a small restaurant next to the hotel with good food, reasonable price and i can go online for free coz there is a few computers over there for the customer to used.

The room are clean. Breakfast spread was substantial. shopping was convenient as it is within walking distance The front desk staff was helpful even though I have to pay for the faxing of my creditcard & passport particular to agoda to extend my stay there. The hotel rate thru agoda was cheap and good. I got load of info of hotels selection1 However as we needed to extend our stay, we have to extend thro the internet in order to get the same rate as informed by the hotel front desk. However our experience was tiring and cumbersome as there was a request to verify our identity where we do not have the facility to fax our cr card and passport details to the agoda office. however the chat service from the agoda website was helpful after 4 to 5 attempts of booking and retrying I was finally able to get the internet extension done which caused us to missed our dinner time.
Restaurant Tip : As we missed our dinner, we walk down to the nearby hawker stall which te hotel staff gave us the direction and found a wonderful beef noodle stall selling very yummy beef noodle and their stock was tasty that we order an extra bowl just to satisfy our appetite and craving.
