It has been my second stay at Sintra Hotel, the first being booked by my travel agent, the second through Agoda and both stays proved to be a wonderful experience. Loved the location - so close to everything. The requests re: bed, non-smoking room, etc was especially granted when I booked with Agoda which I am grateful of. For a three star hotel, Sintra proved to be more comfortable than other four stars hotel I've been to in different parts of asia. The room didn't smell musty, bathroom was big, beds smelled clean and fresh and the employees were all helpful and accomodating. I will definitely book at Sintra Hotel on my next visit - not to mention book through Agoda. I am so happy with my decision in using Agoda. My stay at Sintra Hotel was a great experience. I loved the location as it was close to everything especially Senado Square which I loved going back to every evening (in the duration of my three nights, four days stay). There's a bus station, money changer, 7/11 store just around the corner which was very convenient to tourists like me. The employees at Sintra were all helpful and accommodating. They were quick to give me a new room when the safe inside my room proved to be defective and they even gave me a room with better view. The sheets were crisp, clean smelling and very comfortable which was what I needed after a long day's walk. I had a very restful night every night, and every morning I had renewed energy to tackle whatever amount of walking I was to embark on to tour Macau on foot. I'll definitely be going back to Sintra Hotel on my next visit.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You don't need to take the taxi.... there's a bus stop outside. Just ask help from one of the Sintra Hotel employees to guide you. You can save a lot by doing away with cabs.

Good location, very clean and comfort room. Hotel is in good location, near bus stop, and near senado square in walking distance. Room is very clean and comfort, very relax after long day outside hotel.

good location to many places of interest in Macau. Hotel shuttle bus only goes to the ferry terminal. Ferry to and fro airport would be great. good location to many places of interest in Macau. Central. Hotel Service is good and staff is friendly. Almost immediate response when request for additional pillows. The dim sum on second level is nice and pricing is moderate.

Location is good, near Casino and also tourist walking route of historical sites. we were impressed with the good clean room condition. the location is near several big casinos and all within walking distance. Shops around the hotel open till very late. no problem getting around as it is very near the tourist attraction, all within walking distance. I will recommend it to people because of the location and the price is affordable. The staffs were also friendly and can speak in both Cantonese and mandarin. the food for breakfast was also quite ok.

The hotel location is central, Good value for money, clean, hotel staff are polite and well trained. We also ask many questions and directions, staff seems patient and well explained. The hotel is having some renovations and upgrading, upon check-in, we were being told there will be some noice in the next morning after 10.00am. The room is comfort and clean. Highly recommended. Good value.
Restaurant Tip : Try Magarette's cafe egg tart just around the corner of the Hotel.

Location is just across Grand Lisboa and about 10 mins leisure walking to Wynn. The standard/deluxe room is big enough for 2-4 people. Bathroom is clean.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : From Sintra, you can walk going to St Paul Ruins. You'll pass by a lot of landmarks which makes it more fun. The hotel staff will be able to help you with directions.

clean sheets, nice ambiance,very .accomodating staff, great location whenever i go to macau sintra will always be my favorite hotel to stay in. location wise it is the best for me,very convenient and nice ambiance.you can practically see everything from there from right to left there are many shops and restaurants.and also the people here are very attentive to my needs and all the staff are very friendly. and the rates are quite affordable. that's why i always recommend it to all of my friends who wants to have a wonderful vacation in macau.

good location&comfortable bed It's a quite difficult to find when I transfer from the airport but when I see The Sintra Hotel I feel very good because it's very close to Senado Square / New Yauhan and restaurant.The room is clean and comfortable.This hotel is easy to transfer from/to pier by free shuttle bus every hour.

The hotel was clean and in a good location. Couldn't find shuttle bus from Ferry terminal The hotel is a great alternative if you're not interested in staying at the Casinos. It's really close to the Lisboa, MGM and StarWorld casinos. Rooms are in great shape and a good value. Some of the staff speak basic English. IT is in easy walking distance to many of the island's attractions. I recommend it and will stay there again on my next visit.

Convenient location. Friendly helpful porters. Good value. The carpet seems to be a bit worn down and could do with a change, preferably one which is plain and not patterned. The hotel is conveninently located near Hotel Lisboa and is within walking distance to Senado Square. The porters are friendly and helpful and directed us to a famous egg tart cafe and 711 around the corner from the hotel. The complimentary bus to and from the ferry is useful and comes every 16 minutes. Overall good value.

Nice room. Can't find any after 2 stays. This is my second time saying at Sintra Hotel. I was here in 2006. Needless to say there are many good reason for me to come back.
The location is best. Just cross the road you can go to Lisbao Casino. Also cross the road 3 minutes walk will lead you to the famous Margaret's Cafe's Portuguese Egg Tart. The hotel is also by the main road where you can walk straight down to Senado Square in 5 minutes and further to St. Paul Church etc. All within walking distance.
The room is clean and spacious and price is reasonable. I pay RM300 booking through Agoda.
Certainly I will stay here again for my future trips. Cheers!!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Bus is very convenient in Macao. The bus stop is just cross the road from Sintra Hotel where you can go to Fishermen's Wharf and many other places of interest.

Good location, clean room. Few shuttle buses to access hotel. This hotel is in a quite good location, only 5-10 minutes to walk to Senado square, New Yahao Department store, Grand Lisbao (located at the hotel corner). However, still few shuttles to transfer guests from the pier to hotel and hotel to pier, need to wait around 15-30 minutes. Room is quite big and clean, nice decoration.
