Excellent service for China, very clean, nice Manager, helpful bellboys, excellent receptionists, great value for money food, excellent rooms, excellent price, excellent location, in sum an EXCELLENT HOTEL. Rooms are slightly cold in Summer for Western travellers, the Chinese prefer very cold temperatures in air con systems. They were very nice and offered a heater to compensate It is an excellent old fashioned Portuguese hotel in China. Please do not change it, everybody was extremely nice, the food was in perfect condition and there was something quite rare in China, a willingness to please, to improve. In sum as an MBA specialised in services, I had a very pleasant experience in a quite professional environment
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Get the very helpful receptionists of Sintra Hotel to help you write in Chinese characters the sights you want to visit, as taxis are reliable and affordable but Chinese taxi drivers do not speak English or Poruguese

Great location and friendly staff. Hotel casino was small and under renovation The service provided was great. The staffs were helpful and answered all my queries on sightseeing location and directions. It was a much better experience as compared to another hotel I stayed during my last visit to Macau.
Location is excellent. Within 5mins walk to Senado Square and Ruins of St Paul.

The hotel is good and it is located at the centre of the city. Breakfast was not included in the price that we have paid. I have stayed in Sintra Hotel, macau about 4 times and found it to be value for money. The hotel is situated in the main city centre and shopping areas are only minutes walk away.
Though no breakfast was included in the price the restuarant has a buffet lunch which is value for money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hotel is situated at the city centre and all sight seeing places are easily accessible

Situated in the prime area of Macau. Yaohan, the only shopping complex in Macau, is just 2 min walk away. Senando Square could be easily a 5 mins walk distance. There is no wireless in this hotel, which proves that it is not of the international standard. I stayed in Hongkong prior to checking in to this hotel, even 3 star hotel in Hongkong and China have internet access in the guest rooms. The manager on duty speaks very harshly and is rather rude, not at all friendly. With regards to what I have written above, I definitely would not recommend this hotel with regards to the price I paid, as there are many other cheaper hotels in Macau. I would choose another hotel on my next visit. But I would still book from Agoda for hassle free reservation. Well done, Agoda and do keep it up!

Nearby the tourist spot such as popular egg tart, Senedo square, Saint Paul, etc. No transfer service between hotel and Airport. Cheap room decoration (not fixed furniture). Hotel staff have a good service mined and helpful when we have inquiries. Location is nice for walking to the tourist spot such as Egg tart, Senedo square, St. Paul, etc. Would be better if they provide the transfer service between hotel and Airport.
If you are looking for hotel where nearby tourist spot and reasonable price, the Sintra may is your choice.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't forget to eat Egg tart.

The hotel is located in very good area. You can walk to Senado Square within 5 mins. The room is very clean and look good. I went with my wife and family. Everyone enjoyed to stay here.

The staff is friendly and helpful.
Room is clean, facilities are adequate. Does not have shuttle bus service to/ from the airport. The staff is friendly and helpful, gave me useful advice about travelling around Macau and the places of attractions. The plus point of this hotel: it is very near Grand Lisbao and provide free shuttle bus service to the China ferry terminal. Walking distance to major tourist attractions and restaurants.
Nightlife Tip : It's very near Grand Lisbao, so you can visit the casino till the middle of the night and make your way back to the hotel.

Very convenient, near every place you want to visit while in Macau. The elevator is very small. Everytime I go to Macau, I stay in Sintra Hotel. For me it's the most covenient hotel in Macau. It's near every place you want to visit while in Macau. There's no problem with transportation. Although it is only a small hotel, the facilities are superb. The restaurants also serve very good food at very reasonable price. The hotel rate itself is very reasonable.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Near Senado Square, a good shopping area.

Situated in the heart of Macau City, This hotel has a good location surrounded with many shops and eateries around. Staff are also pretty friendly helping us out with directions. Tried the Dim Sum in the hotel too, quite good. It is value for money if you have budget constraint and don't want to fork out too much on hotel stay.

Very conveniently located. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The lifts are rather slow and there's no free internet connection available. The hotel is very conveniently located and within walking distance to many casinos and sightseeing spots. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The frequency of the free shuttle bus to/from the ferry terminal is also quite regular. I would surely stay at the Sintra Hotel again when I go back to visit Macau. I would also recommend this hotel to those who wish to have a clean, nice, relatively inexpensive, friendly place to stay at.
Restaurant Tip : Try the Portugese Egg Tart and set lunch at the Macau Restaurant located opposite the hotel. The taste is good and the prices are reasonable.

clean hotel. The hotel is clean and is in good location. Very satisfy with my stay. Attitude of the staff is ok only but generally the same as the people in Macau. The are helpful only if you approach them.

Good location, Shuttle bus to ferry terminal, ideal hotel for family stay.
No shuttle bus to airport.
An ideal hotel for family stay, comfortable and harmony environment because there was no casino in the hotel. But there are some big casino surrounding the area, we can go to Grand Lisboa, Wynn and Grand Emperor in just about 5 minutes walking distance.
Near to Senado square (walking distance), a must go tourism destination in Macau.
A lot of food stall and restaurant located next to the hotel, you can find some even running their business until 2am midnight.
Travel tip : If you want to visit Venetian which located at Cotai, you can take the shuttle service from Sintra to ferry terminal. From the ferry terminal, just hop on Venetian shuttle bus, and you can have a free ride all the way.
