Beautiful hotel 10 min walk from Senado Old Town.
Beautifully designed rooms with great room amenities. Free shuttle to the Ferry. 10 min walk away from the Old Town sights like the Senado and the Sao Paolo Ruins.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were given a free upgrade to the Executive Floor and we were very happy with our rooms. Amenities were complete and room just the right size for 2 ladies traveling together. We didn't eat at the hotel but they did have a few nice looking restaurants. Its far from the newer places like the Venetian but close to Macau's tourist spots. We walked to the Senado everyday and enjoyed our location next to the river. Great views all around.
Travel tip:
We had a great meal at a restaurant down the road (10-15 min walk) right before the Mariner's Museum at a restaurant called A Lorcha. Great food and great service. Loved the Bacalao! I highly recommend it. For free trips to the Venetian- take the free shuttle to the Ferry then transfer to the Venetian buses that will take you to their hotel for free (or the Hard Rock bus for City of Dreams). Do the same for the ride back. (A taxi will cost about HK$60 each way).

Lovely hotel located in old town area

Service was very good. Easy transportation using free shuttle bus. Internet was free...not so in other hotels. Located in an old city area, but still easy to walk to all areas. The room is modern and amenities complete.

Me and my dad stayed here for 1 night only while in Macau. I saw the photos of the hotel and liked what I saw. When we got at the ferry terminal, there are staff from the hotel that would guide you to the sofitel shuttle bus. We thought the hotel would ne near the city but we were surprised because it was away from most tourist attractions. the hotel is nice but the location is not really good.

Great reception when u arrive at the hotel lobby, friendly staff will guide u along when checking in. Location wise, nothing much near by other than a 24hr convenience store. But in macau actually everywhere is accessible via their free shuttle bus services.

about 10-15min walk to tourist attractions like the ruins. the room is very spacious, clean and luxurious. service is good, the staff are very helpful and polite. love the bed and bathroom! there's a bus stop right infront of the hotel, but there's free shuttle bus to and forth the pier. the only downside is the shuttle bus is very small about 20pax.. no standing.. and the frequency is 15mins. which is rather long compared to other hotels. overall, love this hotel, will definitely go back again!

the location is ideal closer to the more historical side of the city. you can easily walk to the ruins and shopping areas. if you want the more american looking casinos, you have to go over to taipa side of macau. however, the rooms were amazing. the bed was the most comfortable bed ever. however, the reception, check-in, check-out service was not up to 5-star standard. we were wandering around trying to figure out where to check-in/out and took our luggage and found our room by ourselves. drink service at the pool: we had to hunt down staff to get a menu. the accommodation was 5-star, but service was not. we are usually not really picky, but when we decide to spend more for a 5-star hotel, we expect better service.
Restaurant Tip:
Portuguese food is supposed to be really amazing in Macau, but we were not that impressed. It might have been because we ordered the wrong thing. If you want to try Portuguese food, suggest trying the seafood items and sharing dishes. One rice dish is quite large.
