excellent room and great location!

about 10-15min walk to tourist attractions like the ruins. the room is very spacious, clean and luxurious. service is good, the staff are very helpful and polite. love the bed and bathroom! there's a bus stop right infront of the hotel, but there's free shuttle bus to and forth the pier. the only downside is the shuttle bus is very small about 20pax.. no standing.. and the frequency is 15mins. which is rather long compared to other hotels. overall, love this hotel, will definitely go back again!

Great location, wonderful room

the location is ideal closer to the more historical side of the city. you can easily walk to the ruins and shopping areas. if you want the more american looking casinos, you have to go over to taipa side of macau. however, the rooms were amazing. the bed was the most comfortable bed ever. however, the reception, check-in, check-out service was not up to 5-star standard. we were wandering around trying to figure out where to check-in/out and took our luggage and found our room by ourselves. drink service at the pool: we had to hunt down staff to get a menu. the accommodation was 5-star, but service was not. we are usually not really picky, but when we decide to spend more for a 5-star hotel, we expect better service.
Restaurant Tip:
Portuguese food is supposed to be really amazing in Macau, but we were not that impressed. It might have been because we ordered the wrong thing. If you want to try Portuguese food, suggest trying the seafood items and sharing dishes. One rice dish is quite large.

nice and clean room
free shuttle to and from the pier as expected
helpful staff
the casino there is quite full despite its location, mainland chinese is everywhere in macau's high-end shopping malls and casinos

Luxury Hotel, Nice & Lovely Hotel Room
Big hotel room, great location, near to shopping places and sightseeing places

we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. the room was very well provided with all you need. the breakfast choice was one of the largest we have ever seen and very good. the staff were efficient and helpful if sometimes slightly officious. there is a pleasant pool on a terrace. it is very convenient for visiting the important historical sites.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Use the escalators for visiting the Fort - one of the main guide books takes you a different route.
