- New facility
- Packed with amenities other than casino, lots of restaurants and shops
- Rooms are big
- Near airport, good for short trip
- In newly developed area
- while the floor area of casino is big, it's the same few games over and over.
- the rooms are big but have little details missing that are expected of a 5 star hotel, such as controls of all lights at bedside, bottles of water, wireless internet, etc.
- the floor plates are confusing, hard to find the same shop and going to the pool took forever.
The Venetian was majestic from the outside and while it boasts of many functions and amenities with huge suites, it's the little things that gives the 5th star that is missing. It did not exude the luxury that it was going for. It was an ok experience that was neither disappointing nor special. The best part of our stay was watching Cirque du Soleil which was also like an abridged version of their usual shows. This can go to without staying there. For the cost of the rooms, I am almost certain of better deals in the city.
Restaurant Tip : HAVE TO check this place out, great atmosphere, sincere service, fantastic food, near to Venetian. Ask for Luis. Restaurant name: A Tasca Do Luis. (Taipa) Rua Correia de Silva. No. 57-59.

Big spacious rooms with all the amenities and well decorated. Shopping and casino area all within easy reach.
No swimming pool. Distance to the city (need taxi)
The Venetian is a world class hotel and the rooms speak for itself upon arrival. the staff are efficient and the rooms are a pleasure to stay in. There are plenty of shops and restaurants if you get bored of the casino and the decor of the shopping area ; imitating venice, etc is a nice touch with plenty of picture taking oppurtunities. however, it is located in Taipa so it is quite far away from the main town area. You would need a taxi to reach the city area or there is a hotel bus provided to take you to the Sands casino as well.

Huge.Grand.Luxury. I will never forget the feeling and description of the room. It was better than home's bedroom to most of us, huh.
Take time to get to room even from the reception counter.
It's what is supposed to be. This is defenitely the hotel for those who wants to feel the ambience of upperclass society. Must try at least once in a lifetime. Food selection is incredible that you can find almost everything there. Stores are endless. Too much is never enough.

checking in was fast. recep will show you a map on where's your hotel room, so you won't get lost!).
with a large hotel room, large swimming pool, large shopping mall..it's really like a city of entertainment! you won't feel bored here. you guys should come here and stay for at least one night to enjoy the elegance of the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : this hotel quite far from macau, however they have free shuttle bus to hk macau ferry terminal, and u get to go to other casino/attractions from there..

Luxury hotel, worth the price, great restaurant inside
Great hotel, worth the price, nice view, close proximity to the Airport (less than 10 minute), restaurants inside are worth visiting.
One comment is you should get the membership card (free) before make any purchase as it will give either discount or point collection for almost every spending in there.

The hotel is really big and grand, the rooms are all suites and furnished very luxuriously. up to 6 peopl can stay in the bella suite.
Its quite hard to get around initially because of its .. vastness.
Its away from the other casinos, but there is a very effecient shuttle to and from the ferry terminal. Its the biggest hotel in the world currently so it houses its own sprawling shopping complex. Hence there's little need to venture out for shopping if you're just there for a short stay. Excellent staff, however breakfast queues can get pretty long.

The rooms are all suites with lovely interior, everything (the rooms, bathroom, hallway etc) is very big. The Venetian itself offers a whole range of shops and dining areas there's also a water feature snaking through the whole first floor.
With 3000 rooms, the venetian is very big, so the lobby and breakfast dining areas are very crowded.
I had a good stay, the venetian is self-contained and despite it being away from the main macao casinos, the entertainment offered within the Venetian is more than enough. The Zaia show by Cirque Du Soleil was also very enjoyable and i thoroughly enjoyed the grandeur offered by the Venetian. The casino was very smoky and did not offer a no-smoking zone also the minimum stakes were 200HKD, which is pretty higher compared to other hotels in Macao.
Shopping Tip : Take a cab down to 'da shan ba' for some shopping (cab rates are reasonable)

beautiful room and very clean, good breakfast selection and services overall
casino staff are not very customers' oriented and friendly like in Las Vagas, US. People are too serious in winning and losing, overall too much tension.
Venetian Macau Resort and Hotel is one of the best vacational spot to visit for all types of visitors. The hotel is able to provide an aray of entertainment and activities for its guests, starting from a good indoor scenic walk, exciting shopping spree with barginning prices and discounts. If you want to venture out of the Hotel, there is a old city center in Macau where you can do some sightseeing or easily cross over to HongKong or Kawloon via Jetboat at an affortable round trip price around 320-340 HK dollars for more shopping, sightseeing or good B.B.Q Pork noodle or rice.
Overall, I do enjoy The Venetian Macau Resort & Hotel's hospitality and services, and would recommend a don't miss vacational spot to you undecided vacationers.
Shopping Tip : shopping at Macau is cheaper than in Hongkong due to the exchange rate and you can also use HK dollars in all shops.

room conditions, shopping mall, variety of cuisines to choose from
None except the smoking going on indoors, but I guess thats something you cant take away from casinos.
This is my third stay at the Venetian Macau and I enjoyed every single inch of it. The word hotel is really not sufficient enough to decorate the magnitude and diversity of activities offered at this resort. Rooms are impeccable and the casino is always a treat. Luck went my way this time and perhaps thats why I enjoyed it even more! Been to almost all the resorts in Macau, but none even close to matching the Venetian Macau

Big rooms, Cleans beautiful bath rooms
Quite a distance from Macau city shopping and tourist area.
I stayed 3 nights and enjoyed myself in This hotel. Very big swimming pools and good size gym. Breakfast could be better for five star hotel. Nice shopping complex in the hotel and food court is a bit pricy. Hard rock hotel is just across the road where u can walk there for more shopping and free internet use at the food court.
Shopping Tip : More shops at the Four seasons Hotel which can walk through from the hotel walk way
