One of the best things about staying at the Venetian, Macau is that you don't have to even venture outside the hotel. Everything you would possibly want to do on an indulgent weekend is within the hotel itself. You can dine, be entertained, gamble, sleep, have a relaxing massage/facial at the spa,... Suites a very tastefully fitted out and extremely comfortable. Staff are incredibly helpful. There are probably many more things but these are things I really enjoyed about my stay which was my birthday treat this year.

I can't think of any real weaknesses. Probably the only thing I found difficult was finding my bearings - initially. And perhaps the one weakness of the hotel is that there are just too many good places to spend money! Some may not consider this a weakness at all!

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Venetian Macau for my birthday in March. We wanted to go to Cirque du Soleil and it seemed like a good idea to spend the whole weekend in the Venetian. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend as well as thoroughly enjoying the show. When the staff at check-in realized it was my birthday (that actual day) I got a lovely card of birthday wishes as well as a beautiful arrangement of chocolates. We dined, shopped and I also indulged in the spa. I always thought that it would be over-indulgent to spend money on a stay in such a hotel - it was - and I'd do it again! The great thing is, is that there are often special deals which make staying in such a fine hotel, affordable. It was great.

Shopping Tip : This is not so much a tip as just a general observation. The great thing staying at the Venetian in terms of shopping is that there is a price range for most. I don't like being too extravagant but I was able to buy a couple of things for my granddaughters and my husband and I also splashed out on ourselves.

Room decor and bathroom but only because I stayed in the Royal Suite.

Card key which does not seem to work despite changing it twice

Stay in the Venetian is a big and long hassle to walk to your room and having to pass through the casino. To top it all, everytime I try to open my room door by inserting the card key, I have to do it a number of times despite changing the key twice.

Shopping Tip : Got lots of bargain provided you are willing to walk and walk and walk.

- large rooms - friendly staff, easy check-in and check-out - free shuttle to and from the hotel - clean, beautiful and good service

Can't say much about the weaknesses, however if any, it would have to be that the place is very big, and at times it may be a bit confusing to get around.

Everything at the Venetian was fantastic. We arrived at the Ferry terminal as we came from Hong Kong and was immediately picked up by one of their friendly staffs. They then took us to the hotel and took care of everything. Check-in was fast and our room was enormous! We had a bella suite and our room was clean, tidy and overall beautiful. Everything you could ever want is under this hotel. Shopping, fine dining and even musicals and performances (the famous Cirqus de Soleil was on). There is also free shuttle to and from the hotel.

new, like real venetian

check in counter not good

Venetian resort and hotel overall is good to stay. The suite that we stayed is very nice and comfortable, it will get better if they provide computer in the suite. We love the interior design and we took almost 150 photoes around the resorts. I suggest the management to provide free service shuttle bus to centro town because the resorts is a bit far from town. We will consider to stay for the next trip.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go to nearby down town to experince macau life

I have been going back to Macau over and over again and staying here all the time for its superb room.

Not in Macau City but has free shuttle to get around Macau.

I will definitely stay here all the time unless in the next 10 years or so a better one comes up. All in 1 hotel, casino, shopping, spa etc.

No need to get out of the Hotel Big, beautiful.....

Too big

We stayed in the hotel for 1 night only and we regret we did not stay longer, the hotel is huge, amazing with lots of stores and shopping and dining area, (most of the stores are very expensive), the casino is the biggest one I ever saw and the min bet is pretty high. don't forget to take a Gondola ride. The room is very big and beautiful and we will definitely come back

the room was very spacious, friendly staff (mostly Filipino), free coffee, near the airport, lots of things to do at the hotel, free shuttle service, shops open till 12 AM during weekends

far from the usual tourist spots, quite a walk from the lobby to your room

While I enjoyed our stay at The Venetian but I think once is enough. I would probably come back here only to visit the stores. It was very convenient to have the shuttle service though - we saved up on taxi fare because of it. The CQS show, Zaia, was a bit boring but still a thrill to watch. B Reserve seats are good enough – and don’t book online. Take a chance at the hotel box office. I bought mine at a discounted rate.

Shopping Tip : The Shoppes at Four Seasons is connected to the hotel. Also, the best way to get to town is to ride the shuttle to the Macao Ferry Terminal. From there you can walk to New Yaohan or take a cab/bus to get to Senado Square.

friendly bellboys and efficient luggage hold. professional receptionist who is helpful and cheerful. fantastic room decor and immaculate cleanliness. World class hotel standard and futuristic shopping centre. well integrated resort to adjoining hotel and shopping arcade. novel design of water theme in the venetian canal ride and realistic boats to match. easy access to ferry terminal and Sands Casino an added advantage.

None

As we step out of the taxi, we were greeted professionally by the bellboys and, as we were early, we were told that our luggage is kept in the luggage hold section till our check-in and promptly delivered to our room. The check-in experience was one of the best we experience...the receptionist deserves praises, lady by the name of Jayclyn was both professional and helpful and we even won 2 free ticket to view Zeia..a spectacular show in a fantastic setting in a well endowed theater. The room decor and cleanliness is excellent and the bathroom immaculate and well provided. The shopping mall is a class by itself and one would lose the sense of time while shopping in this environment with the state of the art lighting against a realistic painted sky. The well placed signages to accesses to Four Season Hotel and their shopping arcade is another value for money for this resort. Checking-out was pleasant and we have only praises for our stay in the Venetian, Macau.

Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel attractions and facilities must be enjoyed fully and more to be discovered on a longer stay.

- great & not-so-crowded casinos - great ZAIA show - great food from many restaurants - great Gondola trip - great comfortable suites - great service

None

This resort is a destination in itself, with full services and facilities. It's near the Macau airport and Cotai pier. Shuttle buses are available easily to take us around. For our daily needs, we could find them all inside this resort. We stayed there for 3 days without any regret. We are sure to come back again.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : This resort has everything we need during our stay. Outside the resort there are a few big projects going on. After a few months this area will become completely different as we'll be spoiled by choices. Macau Visa on arrival is available for most countries for HK$100, if a free visa is not available.
