The Venetian Hotel undoubted being the best hotel I have ever stayed in Macau.
It might no be the newest hotel but undisputedly still hold its charm for its Venetian culture design.
The murals, the painting and everything is so classically Venetian. Lovely.
Hotel rooms are roomy and the bathroom is very luxurious.
It has the most numbers of shuttle bus fleet in the islands. Wherever you go. You might find one in the queue. Very practical to travel around the islands.
The cons: you might think twice to go to the swimming pool as you have to walk "miles" from your hotel room.

great hotel. you have dining, shopping, and casinos all in one place. no need to leave the hotel unless you are going site seeing. the only pitfall was that we got stuck because of a typhoon. in that regard the staff was not helpful. we missed our flight out of hong kong due to the ferries not running. the staff was not able to help us in any way, they had no idea when the ferries would run or if our ferry tickets would be valid.

it was a nice experience staying in venetian hotel. everything u need is already in there, you dont have to look for place where to buy stuffs you need just click elevators button to level 3 where canal shops are located and u got everything!
Shopping Tip:
u dont need to look for cheaper prices for branded item outside the venetian hotel, everything is so uniformed, save time just get everything from the canal shops...

I have been going to this hotel every year for the past 4 years, I have also booked with other hotels but always booked some nights in Venetian, the rooms are quit big 4-6persons depending on the room type, very family friendly even though its a casino hotel. Shopping is extremely convenient with a mall on the third floor as well as a food court with good food. Staff are accommodating and friendly. Restaurants for all types of budget!
Nightlife is good, even inside the hotel(Bellini). Buffet breakfast or lunch are delicious!!! Promos are provide huge discounts. With kids playroom/area(Cube),mini golf and very nice gym. Too bad they ended the Cirque du Soleil show, it was one of their highlights!!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take hotel buses going around Macau(just ask for directions!),they're free!!!!

Lovely view of Macao from the hotel rooms we stayed. Suites were spacious and staff were lovely and friendly. Was initially confusing at first to move around the hotel and its shopping space, luckily staff are located at different areas as guides as well.
Casino was bursting with excitement and activities. Highly recommended to apply for a rewards card at the Venetian to get discounts for restaurant/eateries.
Easy access to the ferry with buses every 10-15 min. Was able to travel to other casinos (Galaxy) via free shuttle buses as well.
Restaurant Tip:
The Shanghai Restaurant is worth to try (The Peking duck was delicious without the sweet sauce).
The Imperial Restaurant (Dim Sum) is also nice.

everything is excellent except for some super minor prob. like the the tv is not that modern. the hotel is so huge that you have to really use the map for u not to b lost.the pool is so far from our room but as soon as u get there everything is worth to go for. room is excellent. tiolet is so nice. but they have to provide a mini telephone bidet for washing.. total in all excellent stay.
Restaurant Tip:
choose lunch buffet for much more selection of foods than breakfast.

Big with no Sign
you can do every thing in this hotel.

First, repceptionist was irritating. I have complained to manager about repceptionist who was yelling at me. Manager came up to the room and gave us the complimentary gift.
Second, It was huge hotel, it was really difficult to find the sign to go up to the room from bus stop. it takes 1hr to get there. Because, most of staff can not speak English, around 5 of them gave us wrong information to go up to the room.
You have to speck Chinese in this hotel.if you want to save your time!!
