an unclaimed palace in the heart of macao, aaa++
European design throughout, massive room
9.7
stayed for 2 nights, and couldnt stop 'aww-ing, wow-ing'. all elements of venetian is breath-taking. the hotel is that big, we got given a map to find our room. i went to major hotels in macao and not one was even that close in beating the venetian. worth the price and was truely a remarkable experience.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
catch a free shuttle to the sands (owned by the venetian) at the macao main island, and from there you can do 'casino-hopping' to wynn, lisboa and other casinos for one day, then go to st paul's ruins, senado square and the Guia lighthouse and hill. Superb!

nice hotel with lots of facilities and regular transportation for local site seeing . The Cirque du Soleil in particular is well worth seeing, however, the hotel can be too big and a little bit difficult to find your way around.

I was stayed for 1 night with my family including a baby. The hotel's bellboy, a concierge and the reception's staff was very welcome us and so nice. We was checking in on 1 pm and directly got the room at hotel suite north at level 23. The room was great, spacious, very clean and perfect stay. My baby was so enjoy to sleep on the bed. There are two TV in a room, complete minibar with mini bottle of liquors, bathtub and standing shower and separated door for a closet. Our room in hotel suite north was nearby foodcourt, just went down elevator to the 3rd level and foodcourt is on the left. They also provided free minerals water for maximum 8 bottles a day, for me special request of 10 minerals water because i need to boil water to make baby's milk and 5 bottles again on next morning. I would definitely will come back when I visit Macau again.
Shopping Tip:
Its a big shopping malls just inside venetian hotel, named Grand Canals Shoppes. Its high end and mid end shops. There are also many souvenirs shops with the venetian logo.

i enjoyed staying at the venetian. i would recommend this to all of my friends. the service is superb, the food available in the hotel and the mall have a variety of choices, you won't ever think of having to leave the place. just one comment is the bathroom, how come it does not have a lock? maybe that's normal.
