grand hotel, many places to wander about
the hotel itself is a selling point, being so detailed in its structure and designs, breathtaking!
7.3
We had to wait till l:30p before we could check in, but that was no problem as we were able to walk around and check out the place. The shops in the mall are lovely, tho mostly designer goods. It would be good to have some shops that sell average stuff too, as not every one can afford designer stuff. Rooms were placed quite far away, so we had to walk quite a distance, which brought us thru the casino then to our suite. The suites are lovely and well planned, spacious, even the bathroom, quite a change from the Hong Kong hotels. Service is average, tho staff are polite and are able to give correct directions. signage at the hotel is also good and accurate. The gondola ride is also an experience one should do whilst they are there, and catch the Cirque du Soliel, wonderful show, simply magical. I would recommend anyone going to Macau to stay at the Venetian for an experience. You will forget you are in Macau until you leave the hotel and step outside!
Travel tip:
When in Macau, spend all your MACAU money, as it's not used anywhere else, not even in Hong Kong, or at least make sure they give you change in Hong Kong Dollars!

Very efficient reception at check-in. As we came from Zhuhai, there were shuttle buses available to ferry us directly from the custom to the hotel which is very convenient as we have big luggages. Nice grand hotel and room is big and beautiful. Setback is the exorbitant cost of food at the food court. Almost all the shops here are high-end and does not cater much to mid or younger group. Overall good experience.

Great Hotel with great and honour staff
great big shopping area and good hotel stuff
9.3
We came with a big family so the hotel stuff recommended to upgrad to the bigger room and we stayed in the luxury suites almost the highest floor,37 with 2 big bed rooms, home theatre room, living room, dining room and 3 bathrooms. :)
The best thing I'd like to share is I lost the gold necklece in the room and after I realised that I forgot it at the hotel a week later after I came back home. I wrote the e-mail to ask about it. The hotel replied back and they kept it for me.
Venetian stuff or housekeeper, who found my necklace, is a good person with a great heart to return back and don't keep it. Thank you so much. I definitely stay there again when i visit Macau next time. :). We all had a good time at Venetian
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
take the hotel shuttle bus to go around the Island and other attraction sites.

Opulent hotel with a great shopping mall
Attached to a shopping mall, check-in and check-out took less than 2 minutes, staff very friendly
10
We arrived at Macau slightly past 10am and made our way to the hotel by taxi. Unfortunately, the free shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel only starts at 11am. Never theless, the hotel is only a mere 7mins ride away from the hotel so taxi did not cost much. The check in time was only at 1pm but the shopping mall opens at 10am so we had no trouble idling away the time until check in. The rooms are beautifully appointed and generous with space. We like the fact that the rooms are directly above the shopping mall hence it was very easy to pop down for quick shopping or for food - there are numerous eateries of various budget range to satisfy one's hunger. Staff were always polite even though they didn't always understand your question, but they try very hard! We will definitely return here should we visit Macau again.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Make sure to check out all the various shuttles that the hotel provides to the airport, ferry terminal, Zhuhai border gate and also City of Dreams
