fantastic getaway to the venetian
gondola operators were all charming and very good singers, wide selection of shops to cater to all ages, good that the Cirque du soleil was based at the Venetian
9.7
This is the second time I've stayed at the Venetian with my family. The simple reason is that this is the perfect getaway for the entire family. My children ages 2 and 5 years old thoroughly enjoyed the gondola ride. The occasional appearance of the street performers like the man on stilts and the moving statue excited them too. My elder child had seen the Cirque du Soleil exactly a year ago and again on the recent trip, and throughtout the show was excitedly telling me that he could remember "...this performance and that performance and that man cathing all the hoola hoops..." The first time round he had seen it with his grandma. Obviously I was delighted that he was able to recall events that had taken place more than a year ago. Needless to say, we all knew where my hubby was most of the time but we didn't mind because the shopping that we all picked up more than made up for it! Thumbs up to the Venetian!

Venetian Macau
Great Rooms...excellent ambience...fabulous simulation of Venice streets...canals...gondolas
8.7
It was a great experience spending one day at the Venetian at Macau. Definitely recommended for all fellow tourists. The atmosphere created is truly fabulous. The streets, sky, shops, canals & gondolas are outstanding. Even the rooms are excellent. only a small irritant was the checking in & out. We had to wait in a que. At least for guests using luxury suites they should have the express check-in & check-out facilities to prevent them from waiting. The breakfast services are efficient but the quality of the spread can be improved. Infact even for breakfast they should use different location for their premium guests. Overall great experience & would love to go back again
Shopping Tip:
Great experience...look for good quality venetian glass items

It was even better than I expected. Venetian Resort And Casino, We had such a nice time, we Loved our room (Being a Contractor)I'm really amazed by its size and all the quality and details that went into building the Hotel. Theres so many things to do.Their staff are very helpful. Whether you want to gamble, shop, see a show or just want to take pictures, I'm sure you'll be amazed. They even have Buses that leaves every 10 minutes or so that goes to other Hotels,Ferry Terminal etc. as well as the Airport. When they built the Venetian they thought of everything. I highly recommend staying at the Venetian Macau, Its an Awsome Experience.
We were there for 2 nights,Loved it so much I went online on Agoda.com and extended an extra night, sure I could have done it at the front desk, but it was so much easier to do it on Agoda.
Thanks for the great service Agoda!

stay at the venetian
great hotel, excellent facilities for the kids and tourist location in itself
8
i visited the venetian with my family in October 2009. great place to stay with excellent rooms and other facilities for the kids such as the Qube. one dissapointment was that there was no table for texas holdem poker and that the minimum bets in majority of the table are a bit too stiff for non compulsive gamblers like my self. in all a good stay and could have been better with some english speaking staff at the hotel
Nightlife Tip:
if u are on the lookout for a night spot, better u stay at macau and avoid the cotai strip.

This is by far the best hotel my husband and I have ever been to. The rooms are extremely spacious and very beautifully furnished. We went there for our honeymoon and were greeted by an amazing heart shaped chocolate gift with extra little chocolates inside. The bed was so soft and the pillows so comfortable. There are also so many places to eat and shop, your choices are endless.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Watch a show there, you'll enjoy it heaps.

The Venetian
A great place for a totally different experience!! The suite was so affordable and incredibly spacious. Service was tops too.
7.3
I really enjoyed my time at the Venetian. There was a great range of food and I loved the shopping mall and found some of the shops really reasonably priced. The staff were so friendly. Very few spoke English though which was a bit challenging at times. It was a fair way from town although this didn't worry us too much.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Make sure you take a tour of the village of Macau. Apart from the great shopping, it was really worth it to see the Portuguese ruins.

venetian hotel - a place to be
rooms are big, grand and clean.. room service is very efficient and fast. not particular on the number of persons staying in the room. children are often free of stay

The venetian macau is a place to be when in Macau. It will take a casual tourist about two days to really appreciate the place. The cotai strip is a wonder with all the signature shops and the gondola ride available for a fee, it is a wonderful experience. Also the food is great. With a vast variety to choose from. The price range is also very affordable with choices ranging from fast food set-up to fine dining on several restaurants in the lobby. The only disadvantage of the place is you have to pass through casino's gaming table everytime you go to your rooms which is very annoying to tourist who do not gamble.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
You need two days to fully appreciate Venetian Macau and the Cotai district

Venetian Hotel
Everything, from the interior of the rooms to the entire hotel was beautiful.
8.3
Everything, from the interior of the rooms to the entire hotel was beautiful. Just walking in the halls of the hotel makes you feel like royalty. Everything about the hotel was picturesque and almost made it impossible to pick one good angle to take a photo of. It felt so surreal to have a European experience right here in Asia.
