despite the comments i made earlier, i will definetely recommend to my friends and relatives to visit venetian hotel in macau.i am not a gambling person but i enjoyed the hotel because of the shopping and fine food from the food court and especially the fine dining restaurants. the hotel is so vast and the design and workmanship is so amazing and very detailed. the cleanliness and the employees are full of smile and very courteous. i will need to stay in the hotel for month to really see and enjoy all the facilities.

The check in encounter personal was not so friendly. Some misunderstanding in communication in english perhaps make thing unpleasant. A lot of time waste in finding the room for first timer. the room service is slow may due to long distance travel. The room was nice for the price we paid for but still a little bit more expensive. Overhaul, it was a nice and pleasant stay for family who wish to enjoy and relax . Surprisingly , the hotel everywhere was very clean inclusive of the lobby, toilet, walkway and shopping centre.

Service - for a 5 star hotel, I was most unimpressed with the service at this hotel. For an 8pm check-in, I was not happy to have to wait 30 minutes with two very tired and hungry children under 4 years. Then when we reached our room, the fold out bed was not made up for our daughter which resulted in yet another wait.
Breakfast buffet (incl) in package was far from impressive - after waiting in a queue for 15 mintues, there were no glasses available for juice, no plates available at the hot buffet, insufficient cutlery and when we asked the servers to assist, the response was unfriendly!

Low Rollers beware
Large suite type rooms in a plush casino/hotel environment

This is my second stay at this hotel. The hotel/casino is gorgeous, but the price meets the extravagant surroundings. Due to the size of the hotel/casino, itis easy to get lost within the complex. If you are NOT a gambler, I would suggest you choose another hotel, since the swimming pool is basic and the shopping mall is only for the high rollers.

When i arrived at the venetian, i immediately went to the food court to eat. The first thing i saw was the bright ceiling that mimicked day time. It was wonderful. Although my trip was tiring, seeing the daylight was so relaxing. And it was not too bright. When i got to my room, everything was how i imagined it. Great job Venetian.

The rooms were tastefully furnished, roomy and clean. The shuttles made it a lot easier for us to go around the island. The restos served good food at affordable prices! The staff were helpful and accommodating

The Venetian Hotel truly made our stay at Macau an enjoyable one. We are not so fond of casinos, but the Canal shops and local stores were enough to keep us busy during our stay. The restaurants within the hotel kept our palate satisfied with the different cuisines to choose from (Portuguese, Brazilian, Chinese, American, Japanese and many more!) It was easy to travel around Macau because of the shuttles that the hotel provided, you just hop on and hop off the stops if you need adventure! I highly recommend the Venetian Hotel whether you are travelling with your family or for business. I will surely come back

Our stay at the Venetian Macau was a winderful, Everything is made easy frim our arrival at the airport to our departure. We were welcomed from the time we got out of the airport terminal and rode at the comfortable, purple Venetian buses which took us to our hotel. The check-in was easy since there were many counters with very courteous staff. The main selling point is the huge magnificent room. It had everything in it and was utterly clean. The complex itself was so huge and had a variety of activities for all age groups. There was a myriad of shops, from fashinable clothes to electronic. With regards to food, we had a hayday sampling the different cuisines.The best part is there was alwys a shuttle available to move from one place to the other.

We enjoyed our stay at the Venetian.. there was so much to do, shopping, casino, dancing at the bar, swimming and basically just sight seeing. If you're like us, who have been walking throughout Hongkong (Ocean Park, Central, Mongkok) then walking throughout Macau (Ruins, leal Senado, Sky Walk, etc) you might find the vastness of the Venetian a bit inconvenient..but make it a point to stay there at least once, when you're in Macau.. and spend the whole day at the Venetian : )

the hotel is amazing, it is easy to get lost because it is huge!!! in the berlini bar there was a great live show every night - good vibes!!! we did not have breakfast in the hotel so we do not know about that. unlike vegas, the hotels are not on a "strip", this hotel is located in taipe, and the lisbona and mgm and wynn are located the the center of macao, so if you want to be near a city this might not work, if you are planing to stay al day long in the hotel- that is the place for you!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the sightseeing is not near the hotel, you need to take a cab to the city, or to choose a different hotel... shopping in the hotel is very expensive (brands mainly)

venetian macao is really worth staying for.rooms are very spacious,with nice interiors and beds are wide and big,and made our sleeping very comfortable.hotel is very accesible to shopping too.we dont need to go out of the hotel because everything is inside.aside from gaming in the casino,there are lots of ammenities for fun loving people and especially for the kids.The gondola rides and the show.It is really for family vacation site.The staffs are very polite and very accomodating.The next time I'll come i will book my stay here again.and dessiminate to my friend the good news of staying in this hotel.
