great location but small rooms

i stay i night at here, i feel not so good cos the bed very hard n the bath room there water too slow,in front hotel waitting taxi if noon time ok but if in night time not so easy.
Restaurant Tip:
if want to have a meal dont go inside waldo hotel, can take taxi to ohter place

love the size of the room, the size of the bathroom, and the size of the bed. i even have a nice view from my room. my biggest complaint: no wifi and there is no electric outlet next to the internet connection and the wire is not long enough to reach the bed.

i like the big rooms they the hotel offers. the hotel also subscribes to alot of cable channels which you can watch while your partner is having his/her bath. service was good too with a smile.
the hotel is opposite the other hotel. although waldo hotel offers shuttle bus, i did not see the bus. i took the one that goes to the other hotel and walked back to waldo hotel. this hotel has some shops nearby. it is a pity that i did not have time to check it out.
hotel is located in the outskirts of the town. you can actually walked to the st paul churh if you do not mind walking about 45 minutes.
buffet breakfast offers two choces. chinese congee or american breakfast. i took the american breakfast which offers choices of pastry , bacon , toast and juice. the standard is quite good. the service was also good. when i asked the waiter for advice as to how to go to the lighthouse , he gave me details and also wrote down chinese name for me to show to taxi driver.
the room is very cosy and big. however, the view from my room is not very good as faces the surrounding buildings.lighting in the hotel is rather dim. can't do much unpacking in the night.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the lighthouse is located behind the hotel. however, you can't walk up . i took a taxi there

as mentioned in agoga, there is bathtub provided. however, when i checked-in, i noticed that there was no bathtub in the room. then i called to the reception and requested to have a room charge with bathtub. thus, they offered a free upgrade to the deluxe theme room with a bathtub. everything in the room is nice and they offered a late check out at 1400hrs.

worn out building with updated rooms. at check in had to wait a while because i booked through agoda. wasn't offered a non smoking room and of course ended up in a smoking room. so had to change rooms. they wanted me to come back to reception to do it! i said you bring the new room key to me which they did. rooms are average, stained carpet, no bathtub, bed felt like lump of concrete, ideal for mainland chinese but not westeners. this type of room is only worth about 60% of what i paid. if you like to go to the sands casino then it's good because it's across the road but anywhere else is a taxi ride away.
