clean, new furniture, equipment is also very good, close to the shopping malls. parking with guard, reasonable price and very good to stay. but the only one thing i do not like is that you need to take off your shoes before entering.

On rainbow hotel I experiences a free alarm from nearby bird nest farm on early morning and evening.. lucky I wasnt stay inside the hotel wholeday if not I will get annoyed by those noisy little burung layang layang..

It is a nice and clean budget hotel. The location is good, 5 minutes walk to Alor Star mall, 1 min walk to Chinese Seafood restaurant and opposite hotel is a Dim Sum restaurant. I like the take off shoes policies and provided with the locker. Just a bit not convenient, is the hotel insufficient room in the main block, so we need to go another block. But overall the hotel are good!

It's a nice place for the value we paid. It's a bit difficult to find the hotel at first. It was not on my GPS list of hotel. So, have to call the hotel to ask for direction. There is a big chinese restaurant (can't remember the name) opposite the hotel. One thing to note is that guest are not allow to wear shoes into the hotel. You need to keep your shoes in a locker. There hot and cold water dispenser located at the common area. Most attractions are loacted about 15 to 20 minutes drive from the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Note that Lye Huat Garden at Jitra has closed down. Museums and art galery is worth visiting. Alor Setar town can be quite jammed up in the evening.

Great Scenery Hotel
very near to the crystal clear beach!

The most attraction of this hotel is the crystal clear beach sea water located just abt 3 minutes walk from the chalet. The resort is a bit old fashioned but all of the facilities provided work properly! Would stay at here again!

This hotel is clean and worth the money, you have to open your shoe before entering the hotel. It also feel safe because they have people to take a look at your car at night, great for business traveler that need to crash somewhere easy and cheap
