beautiful old hotel with spacious rooms, excellent service and fine cuisine. The hotel has a good staff of jungle guides to take you on interesting nature walks
Cameron Highlands is a charming area of jungle, tea plantations and wildlife. The resort is the best hotel in the area, and has a lot of old-world charm plus excellent service. I would definitely recommend this resort for a weekend or longer get-away
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : be sure to bring a good pair of hiking boots, as the jungle trekking is very worthwhile

Overpriced food & drink, excessive road noise.
After many years in malaysia we eventually made it to the Highlands. No doubt the hotel is the best in the Highlands, however, it was overpriced with a "pay for everything" mentality - even an advertising map of public walking trails. Although the service was generally good, and the staff friendly, they had to be pushed to reveal any local information. The food and drinks, although pleasant enough, were considerably overpriced. Significant road noise also spoiled the atmosphere - double glazing might be handy!

well-maintained rooms, friendly staff.
lots of traffic noise, slow service.
The hotel is nice, clean and well-maintained. Staff are friendly, but sometimes a bit slow. The rooms are spacious. All in all a great place to stay if it weren't for the traffic noise. All day and most of the night, traffic seems to thunder through the room.
On a different note, it would be nice to have some more choice when it comes to dining.
