I & my friends totally six persons spent a wonferful holiday in there.The decorations of the resort are so classic ,we all love the style,& we felt so comfortable.Their staff 's service were very kindly and nice. We love the breakfast & English High tea,so lovely & yummy.We love the library ,the a wonderful place,especially at night,they light up the stove,we felt so comfortable when we are there at night.

we only stayed one night but it was a lovely stay.
since it was a ytl owned hotel i was expecting it to have yes 4g internet access but there was none ... this is only the sore point.
the rest of the stay was good.

The best hotel in the Cameron highlands

Up to the time of me writing this review, this is the only 5-star hotel in the Cameron Highlands. It is located between the two main towns of the highlands and is directly in front of the golf course. The rooms are lovely but a bit expensive.

a lovely and very well appointed hotel, very good bedrooms and lovely public areas. two excellent restaurants both providing very different but excellent food. service throughout was superb all the staff made you feel so welcome. only draw back is the noise from traffic at night in the bedrooms, good double glazing is urgently needed. trecks are great and if you're a reasonably competent walked don't bother using the guides just get a map from reception.

good hotel marred by attention to vip

we ordered an extra bed prior to arrival only to be informed that all beds were given to certain vip. and the manager who informed us - had his back turned to us while telling the staff to relay this message to us. we, as a group of friends, are constant visitors to ytl hotels and were extremely disappointed with this particular manager. other than this one individual, service quality was excellent

Loved this hotel would definitely go back only down side is the lack of a pool but apparently this will be completed by 2013. Perfect for a relaxing break away from the rat race

ytl properties pride themselves on luxury and first class service - i expected the same when we decided to book chr for a weekend getaway. i was delighted when i arrived and the gentleman at the reception knew my name. i guess late check-in has its advantage. vivian our guest officer is very sweet and efficient and took us around the resort and introduced us to the bar, dining hall, library etc before showing us our room. although our deluxe room was nice regretfully, the view of the balcony was blocked by the roof of the foyer/kitchen (smell of pastry baking wafted through the balcony!) the bed is very comfortable and the breakfast is nice (a little hiccup during breakfast when the kitchen forgot my toast! but overall good service). my disappointments - the noise (from the traffic in front of the hotel and the neighbour watching football at the balcony!) and the housekeeping department. the balcony light was burnt when we checked in and to our horror our room was not made up when return from our outings to the town the next day. that disrupted our rest. we were ignored the 1st time we call to reception to inform them. thank you vivian for attending to us immediately when we called the 2nd time (some 25 minutes later). we accept the apology from housekeeping by way of the chocolate and strawberry but the reputation of ytl has been chipped. i was informed that it's because of inexperience trainees. overall we would say the stay is so-so except for the saving grace of vivian and yoshie and the gentleman who greeted us when we checked in who made us feel very welcome.
