The description of the hotel facilities was excellent, however in reality it's nothing as the descriptions say. The Japanese restaurant doesn't serve the kind of food as described. There weren't any choices at all except the fixed set. And only one type of set is offered. Noisy during the night with the main street traffic. Can't open the windows since it's too noisy. Description of breakfast was really impressive with promises of fresh food from the farm, but not in reality. It's rather expensive for that kind of food. Not up to the standard of a 5 stars hotel. All in all, it's not up to everything that is described in writing. Things like the golf course was across the main street and not next to the dining room.
The room is ok. Clean sheets and bath towels. The room look exactly like the pics on the website. Service was good and friendly.
Noisy.
Limited food choice.
Expensive breakfast with limited choice.

Stayed at the Deluxe room. The room condition was ok. Clean bathroom. Good ventilation for bathroom. However, it's noisy at night since the balcony is facing the main street. Disturbing for light sleeper like me. Tried to have the window closed, but it's not helping. Choices of food is so limited to only single set. Only one type of set is served at the Japanese restaurant. Breakfast choices is limited too and expensive. Reading room is so open and not cosy as the picture shown. Golf course is across the street. It's misleading to have described the dining room to have views overlooking the golf course. Heavy traffic zooming away on the main street.
Nice room.
Clean comfortable.
Good afternoon tea.
Limited food choice.
Noisy rooms.
Main street with heavy traffic.

we stayed based on multiple recommendations from friends. We like quiet serene atmospheres so this was perfect for us. I like softer mattresses than are typically available in most hotels in asia. Next time will try another hotel just for comparison sake. Nicely furnished. Staff service was good see my comments above. Food could have been better but was certainly acceptable.
staff were very attentive. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. While at dinner, the staff spelled out " Happy 25th Anniversary" with rose and flower petals. It must have taken quite a while to do. What a lovely and unexpected gesture. Nice old world styling/furnishings.
Bed was typical hard asian mattress, uncomfortable. There is no need for Aircon here but the fan made a terrible humming sound so we had to shut it off. TV carried all kinds of stations but not on astro, missed having movies. Traffic ran right in front of hotel so was noisier than I would have liked, otherwise was peaceful. Dinner was okay, nothing to right home about and a bit pricey for what you get...

A forester belong to the hotel, who guided us behind hotel's forest. It's a good experience to learn nature. Many woods live together like a integration world. That guide told us how people live in the world.

We had an extremely enjoyable time. We had diner twice there and enjoyed the overall colonial atmosphere of the hotel. Staff is extremly helpful and friendly.
The hotel is situated outside the villages of the Cameron Highlands which can be a plus if you like a more secluded environment but means you will depend on a taxi to explore the shops and alternative restaurants of the area.

Cameron Highlands is a nice place to unwind and enjoy the pleasant cool weather all year round. Some good treking but not much else to do by way of sightseeing. Great for golfers as the hotel overlooks the golfcourse!

Excellent hotel for couples and golf players. It is the perfect stay for a visit to the jungle (walks) and the tea plantations.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you have a car, you can easily drive to the various tea plantations in the Cameron Highlands. We have visited the Bho tea plantation, which is highly recommendable.
