It is located by a park, very quiet and peaceful. Room is large, bed is huge, no sound proof, being an old four star hotel it is quite typical. I requested for a room not facing the main road and they have me one, very good. They offered two bath towels, one floor towel, shower gels and shampoo. There are seperate bathtub and shower room, which is great. Hot water available 24 hours, a good bonus as water in Cameron Highlands is very cold! Not many options for buffet breakfast but they've made an effort to change the main menu everyday. Many people say the cleanliness need to improve and I agree that. Price varies hugely depending on the timing. Overall a good stay. I have booked two nights for July as well.

Ok, but could be improved
Our stay at the hotel was very nice. It is very well located, we arrived at the local bus terminal and could reach it easily by 5 minutes of walking. Also there are many restaurants near the hotel and the Chinese restaurant at the hotel's ground floor is recommendable. The outside swimming pool was nice for kids, but not for relaxing. Also the wifi "situation" could be improved, because when checking in you are given a wifi code for 2 devices that lasts only 24 hours so when staying longer you always have to go get a new wifi code. Most of the time the wifi did not work or the connection was rather bad. Our room was spacious and clean. But we were disappointed by the breakfast: fruits were not cooled or covered, so there were many flys. Also the bread and marmelades (and honey) were not protected from insects. Overall our stay was ok, the staff was also very nice, but the hotel needs some improvements.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location
We would definately stay here again. Century Pines is gorgeous, beautiful period decor in a lovely setting with a beautiful park and huge children's playground just across the road, and an easy walk into town. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed, and we appreciated the clean drinking water dispenser (hot and cold) in the hallway.. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had scones and tea in the lovely outdoor seating area of the Pavilion Cafe when we arrived - good tea, ok scones, delicious jam, weird cream - or was it some kind of butter? There was a good selection for breakfast, the coffee was undrinkable but the tea was fine. The sauna shown in the picture gallery is part of the spa, has to be booked, as does the Jacuzzi bath, and both incur a charge, so we didn't bother. The shower leaked from near the head; we reported it but no action was taken. It was a bit weird having a bath with a sign informing us that it 'was not a dipping bath, but for use with the shower only".
