Big rooms and great location if have transport

i went to cameron highland with a friend and stay at this hotel during school holiday.the hotel is fully booked so the hotel management cannot really consider for late check up but still appreciate their understanding for 30 minutes late check-up.the room is quite spacy with a sofa in it.however the location is 5km away from attraction spot.it is such no hassle for those who have transport to travel around.the breakfast is so-so and no so attempting.

Great location but minimized room amenities
Location, scenery, interior decoration, parking
7.3
The hotel is in a very good location. For Muslims, the mosque is a stone's throw from the hotel. The hotel is also 50 m from the Tanah Rata bus station and the strip of shops along the main road. The food at breakfast was good and enough. However, those looking for a bigger spread, would feel otherwise.
The interior decoration is well done. The rooms are enough and well kept. Just that, there is a feeling that some cost cutting has been done in the room. Example, there is no top-sheet for the bed, just a comforter. We noticed there was no room service menu. Otherwise, the stay was good.
We never tried the spa, but the hotel has one.
Restaurant Tip:
There is good and affordable steamboat near the Hotel De la Fern. The restaurant is called Glory 78.

at cameron dont expect 5 star hotels, this place is fine and an average hotel.room was clean, big, and had a nice view.i didnt expect anything more for what we paid. my only complaint is the lousy breakfast it was really bad, choices were very few and all bad quality, i had paid for the breakfast for 2 days but i went to the nearby restaurant for my breakfast the second day, much better.
Restaurant Tip:
dont bother having the breakfast, just walk 5 mins to local restaurants.

It's convenient room for a family. Large room for 3 adults.
It's much cooler to stay in Tanah Rata rather than in Brinchang.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Located at the Tanah Rata. It's Just walking distance to the bus terminal, library, police stations, shops, restaurants and tea and coffee shops. There are travel agencies too.

Great Hotel. Excellent Location. Friendly Staff
Polite staff, Excellent Location, Comfortable and Cosy Room
9
Pros of the Hotel:
1. Room is very spacious with a king size bed, 2 side tables, dressing table, TV console, 2 chairs and a round working table.
2. Very clean and spacious toilet. 1 cubicle for water closet, 1 cubicle for standing shower and 1 bath tub.
3. Provision of digital secured safe box located in the cupboard.
4. Excellent location in Tanah Rata. Walking distance to the town with restaurants and basic ammenities.
5. Hotel provision liasing with 2 travel agencies to provide you with either half or full day tour packages at resonable prices. Although you can walk out to the town to negotiate for a slightly cheaper price, personally I dont think the time spent is worth it since the savings if probably RM 5 to RM 10 per person only. Time could be better spent touring the town or sight seeing.
6. Hotel provision daily breakfast. Breakfast is reasonably good though the spread of food is not fanstatic as compared to the 5 stars or 6 stars hotels. But personally I think its sufficient. Alfresco setting of the restaurant, along with the cool morning weather makes breakfast an incredibly pleasuring experience.
7. Relatively huge open space carpark and a basement carpark. Cameron Highland generally is safe hence driving your car up for a short trip is pretty encouraging.
8. Female Staff (night shift) is very polite & helpful and could remember our names throughout my stay.
Cons of the hotel:
1. No wifi in the room. Only wifi in the restaurant or lobby.
2. No provision of slippers in the hotel room.
3. Only 2 pillows were provided. Additional pillows were kept in the wardrobe which doubtfully it might be dusty. Recommend the pillows to be placed on the bed though.
4. Centralize control for the air conditioning system. Occupants in the room has no access in controling the temperature to best suit their needs. Occasionally it can be rather cold at night.
