Great Location with fresh Air

The hotel is at top of the Cameron Highland .
I think it is the coolest place of the location. The air is fresh & cool especially at night & morning. A little bit upset as some of the furnishing is old & not well maintain.

Great view and location is close to market (walking distance) and strawberry farm (opposite the road) makes it an ideal location. Also short drive to Brinchang town where there are plenty of restaurants and mini mart. However, traffic to town may be heavy during holiday/weekend period.

It is a famous hotel but it has been operated for more than 15years.
Some part need to be repaired, especially toilet and furniture in room.
Has to remind the front desk to put you into a non-smoking floor. I bet you cannot bear with the smell if you don't smoke.

Very Old and Run Down Hotel Room

Very disappointed stay at Cameron Highlands Equatorial Hotel. The room conditions are very very run down, the water closet (W.C.) water flowing non stop after flushing. On top of that when taking shower, the whole bathtub flooded with water due to blockage for the drainage outlet. I could not believe this is the standard or quality of reputable Equatorial Hotel.
Another very crucial matter for me is your WiFi access, I was unable to connect to the hotel internet access despite many times lodged a complaint to the front desk. All sort of "nonsense" excuses given i.e. firstly said to try reconnect after modem was reset, but failed, but then one of the staff informed "Oh! these few days we have problem with Streamyx connection, still not fix!". I just wanted to able to access to the Internet, not excuses given to me, this is hotel responsibility.
As a hotel guest, this is the first time I am having problem access to Internet, I have never experienced such bad services in my others previous stay in hotel with Free WiFi/Internet. VERY DISAPPOINTED GUEST!

It was a memorable stay in this hotel,Clean and nice room,good and sincere service ,only some minor problem with the door access, but was quickly solved, thanks to the technician.
Restaurant Tip:
always consult the local folk for good and cheap food available here.

Cool place to stay
cool, cheap, close to town and to the resort facilities

Great place to chill out. Free parking if you drive, just be careful of the mountainous roads. In between the resort park and to the town. Free shuttle buses to hop on to go up to the park or downhill to the town. Suggest to get a high level room to get a great morning view.
