Both my boyfriend and myself really enjoyed our stay at Equatorial cameron highlands hotel. Nice hotel design and cool lobby area with pool table. Will definitely want to go back there again soon!

Great hotel to stay - friendly staff, good view
Staff was very friendly. They provides us a king size bed on the fly, we're flexible with checkout time. They even gave us a room on the top floor because we asked for a good view.

Enjoyed every bit of it. Don't forget to try out the steamboat place in the hotel. Worth every penny.
Need to provide wifi connectivity - free of charge. That's the only improvement I can think of.

Comfy suite of good size
I like the location on top of Cameron Highlands and its proximity to various places of interest such as the Boh Tea Plantation.

although the room i stay in is comfy and of good size, it is expected as it is a suite. however, i can feel the age of the room and it's contents. bedding has a damp and used smell. bathroom is old and yellowish. water in the shower does not flow properly and floods while you are taking a shower. however, the staff are polite and helpful. overall, i like the hotel and recommend this hotel to other guests who don't mind the features mentioned above.
Travel tip:
Ask for the newly renovated rooms.

This hotel is in a good location, but rooms in particular the bathroom needs upgrading. The hotel's vicinity area needs to refurbished as well. They should increase the food variety as well.

Nice hotel but crowded
very nice room with a good view (would be better without all the new constructions at that area)

The hotel is nice, staff are friendly, except that it's a big hotel that it's crowded everywhere. Not recommended for those who prefer private environment.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Must visit Sg. Palas Bharat tea plantation to have your nice sip of tea with a great view of the hilly plantation.

Great location but surroundings are haphazard
The 2 bedroom apt is spacious.

Best location for coolest temperature in Cameron Highland but its surroundings very haphazard as compared to Tanah Rata.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Don't miss the Bharat Tea Plantation at at about 5 km from Tanah Rata. Best place to visit and to relax.

The hotel is very well located and the view from the room was great. The breakfast buffet of at the hotel was good too.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Do not pay extra to go on the hotel's sightseeing trips to the Rose Centre, Bee Farm and the roadside markets as all these places are just a walk down the road and just outsde the hotel.

The money paid I supposed I can get a better ones. Rates paid with no breakfast quite expensive with this kind. The only hotel with swimming pool in Cameron highlands is actually cold water. I thought its filled with warm water or at least heater in the indoor pool, quite disappointed as it's one of the thing which attracted me, for my kids to have some extra activities there. There's no safe to keep our things too. The basin underneath is leaking causing floor n our feet wet. Never see any tour recommendation leaflet nor map near the reception etc until I checkout there's a notice at the reception that we can ask from them if needed only.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If u are going to choose this hotel, do get ready of plans n places to go coz its very jam outside especially school holidays. But there are quite a number of places to visit nearby eg kea market.
