Great view, great weather, nice little fireplace gave the lobby a cosy, rustic ambience.

General building maintenance, surrounding gardens need to be tended

As mentioned in the pros & cons above, this Hotel is located at a pretty high elevation so the views of the valley & it's various plantations were spectacular. Service standards are very good, but you do not get them unless you ask. Staff don't usually take the initiative to offer their services, instead, they operate on a more or less 'ask and thou shalt receive' type of service orientation. Nonetheless, when the soles of my track-shoes kinda came apart, the Hotel very kindly glued them back for me though I had to rather strongly 'suggest' that particular course of action. The guestrooms, though not exactly the epitome of luxury, are very generously proportioned with even their standard rooms coming with a seperate hall & bedroom configuration. Though there were only 2 of us, we felt that the room could comfortably accomodate 3-4 persons no problem! Overall, we enjoyed our stay there very much and would definitely make a return visit if the opportunity presents itself.

Restaurant Tip : In the town of Brinchang just 5 mins away from the Hotel, there's this local stall selling excellent BBQ Seafood (Ikan Bakar) at ridiculously low prices! We had 1 x Large BBQ Stingray, 1 x BBQ Fish, 1 x Mixed Vege, 2 x rice and 3 x Homemade Barley Drink (heavenly!) all for the low low price of RM35! That's like $9.90 USD!! Crazy huh?!?

No fans in the room

I was disappointed after a long (6 hrs) drive, that i booking was not in the system.I have to wait 30 min to confirm my booking. The breakfast was also disappointing. The quality of the food was not up to standard.

Travel tip : There are other hotels that gives better value for money.

Quiet, overall good customer service

Far from town, not easy to get access to local food stall.

Staying there for 2 nights, overall the customer service are satisfying. Hotel cafeteria was above average with decent choice of foods and accompany by their good customer service. However need to mention their foods are quite pricey. The drawback would be far from town and not easy to get access to local food stall.

Spa facilities, sports facilities and huge space for room, good foods and nice environment lounge, and of course TV program variety

no sport and spa facilities, limited restaurants and no TV programs

I was staying at Equatarial Cameron Highland, not like it due to no spa and sport facilities. service no good enough.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and approachable. The internet access is not free and limited cable TV channels. The location is central and can easily accessible to other parts via car.

Near to farms. Fresh air. Go for morning walk to enjoy the rustic farmlands. Swimming pool. Near market and restaurants. Can buy cheap premium honey from neaby farms. Need to check as some import them from Thailand. Get fresh ones by requesting them to press fresh honey from honey comb slabs.

Limited things to do in the hotel.

Hotel has good location. Near to restaurants, market and coffee stall. Don't join the day tour there as they are very crowded (especially during weekend)and you don't get to see attractions at your own pace. I chose to book a taxi for 4-5 hours (MUST negotiate the price 25-35MYR) to go to the BOH tea plantation, visit parks, Bee farms, waterfalls etc. More privacy, quiet and u can chose the length of the stay. Swimming pool is heated but still very cold. Pool is rather empty.

Restaurant Tip : There is a Indian foodcourt near the entrance of the hotel. Try the roti prata and other selection. The curry is fantastic. Also visit the nearby markets for corn and sweet potatoes.

Enjoy a breeze Guest Rating: 6.7
