Cosy Hotel for a Break!
Good location with fresh air from congested town in Tanah Rata and Brichang
7
It is a nice hotel but not the 4 star as expected. Generally, you can easily find good park lot and rooms are clean and cosy for family gathering. The only thing that this 4 start hotel has a big bathroom but slippery tiles which we almost fell off after taking the showers. I wonder what would have happened if old folks used this kind of bathroom. I hope the hotel management could look into this problem.

Nice Hotel but below average service
The room is large & clean
7.3
We stayed for 2 nights end of May in Cameron Highlands. This hotel was picked as it has 2 Queen beds. 1st impression was that it was a nice, clean hotel with good service. The room was large & my children loved the space to run around. Breakfast provided was reasonable with good variety.
However, the service rendered by the frontdesk has much to be improved. The inroom safe were locked when we checked in. We called to get the safe reset so that we can keep our valuables in it. I called twice. It was never done.
2nd night, my daughter was down with fever at midnight. I called the frontdesk asking for Panadol. I was told they dont provide medication. Well, what do you expect from a 3 star "boutique hotel"....
Overall, ok experience but the frontdesk follow up skill need to be improved.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Call frontdesk to spray the room for mosquito in the evening. You don't ask, they don't bother to ask you either. I learned the hard way.

named after the luxuriant fern that proliferates in the highlands, hotel de' la ferns is ideally located between tanah rata and brinchang. just 3 minutes drive from tanah rata, the english tudor architecture offers a typically english ambiance in a cool setting.

Tudor outside. Inside, standard motel fittings.
Next to Route 59. Cannot miss it but not much of a view.

So called 3-star hotel with 1-star staff service. No toilet rolls on 2nd day of stay. Mid-afternoon can be quite stuffy as there is no aircon in the rooms. Morning buffet spread of average quality.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The town with the most attraction is Brinchang. That's where the shopping, eating, and night life is at. A couple of boutique hotels are located there if you know how to Google these out. If I'm there again, I'll skip De La Fern and book 2x adjoining double rooms for my family of 4. It will be 25% cheaper. Finding a car Park in Brinchang may be harder. That's the downside.

Clean and Friendly environment
Clean and big rooms, Family friendly, reasonably good breakfast
6.7
We had a pleasant stay at the hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is about 10-15 drives from major sites. There is a restaurant right outside the hotel. Parking lots are also easily available. The only down side is that the hotel is located right by the side of the road which can be rather noisy with traffic in the day. Not good for light sleepers.

well located and peaceful
balcony facing ferny hillside
8
This small hotel is located halfway between Tanah Rata and Brinchang, the two main townships of this mountain resort, and, as such, it is very convenient for meals, sightseeing trips or other activities We had a deluxe room facing away from the road, with a lovely king sized bed with four posters. There was a big balcony, with a wooden chair ( unfortunately, only one) where we could relax in the morning and evening. It was well appointed, the tasteful soft green décor adding to the peaceful, cool atmosphere. Finally, the staff are most friendly , helpful and courteous, which was a further bonus to the relaxing stay.
Restaurant Tip:
Try the steamboat in Brinchang
