- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hiking trail number 9 (also mentioned in Lonely Planet) is really worth doing and can easily be done without a guide.

I appreciated the guide in the tea plantations and jungle, professional guide, also botanist with unexpectable interesting comments.
Sorry I have not enough cons ...
- Travel tip : From this house disappeared in 67 Jim Thompson, a legend in Thailand - still an enigma.

A better selection would be The Old Smoke House or even Cameron Highland Resort even if the room price is slightly higher. The environment and surrounding for these hotels are better than The Lake House. The 4 course meal at Cameron Highland Resort, which is a 5 star hotel, offers at RM75++ compare to Lake House(a 3 star) at RM100++
- Restaurant Tip : Avoid having your meal at the Lake House if you can. Better option would be in the Old Smoke House or Cameron Higland Resort.

This is a very familar place where you will be in good hands from the moment you enter the hotel till when you leave. Comparing to other places it is more expensive to eat here and the dishes are mostly Western types.

Staff are young but discrete and eager to please. If you are vegetarian and staying a few days try the starters as main course for added variety.
