It is satisfactory enough.
- Restaurant Tip : It was delicious, and as for Taiski, the amount was also
cheap.
It should be rated 3 stars

The rating of this resort should be changed to 3 star in order not to confuse travelers, instead, the Cameron Highlands Resort(CHR) should be changed to a 5 star rating. We dropped by and found out that it was fantastic. Regret not staying in CHR.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Strawberry picking, tea plantation etc

We have enjoyed the Strawberry Park Resort many times in the past. It is still good value with friendly staff and a quiet and comfortable ambience. The well kept gardens make this an added enjoyment.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The trip to the Boh Tea viewing facility at the Boh Tea Estates must be treated with some care by older visitors, or by those with heart conditions or some physical handicap. The Visitors car park is sited a good 200 meters below the facility and the climb up can be very strenuous indeed. I had trouble myself. What is so irritating is that on arrival at the top one finds a whole range of vehicles who have ignored the 'drive no further' notice and just driven up. Boh Teas should address this problem before they have a medical problem with a visitor. This experience completely spoilt my day, which I had so been looking forward to.
A nice getaway

Check in time at 3.00 PM is a bit odd. Although I believe they are flexible on this.

Looks are decieving. Exterior looks very elegant, colonial style architecture with balconies but interior looks too old and as if falling apart. Seems more like a 3 star holiday chalet than a hotel. Major renovation needs to be done.
- Travel tip : If looking for steamboat restaurant, look no further than in the Thai restaurant within the hotel. It has good ambience, clean, generous portions and resonably price. Though it's slightly cheaper for eating at the restaurants outside but be ready to be swamped by flies. Few of my friends had tummy upset from eating outside too.

The Afternoon tea of Scones, and jam was the worst I have ever had anywhere. Mine were not cooked properly. I sent it back and they never even offered to remove it from my bill. Fortunately for them I had been bored into domicility by the lack of activities. I think it's not for me but if you want to rest go here.
- Hotel Feature Tip : Take a friend!

Overall we enjoyed our stay here - the hotel looks beautiful from the outside but does need refreshing. I would stay here again but I probably would be uncertain about staying for more than a few nights - the taxi bills into town (at least MLR12) would start to add up!
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are some pretty walks from near the hotel - and it's much cheaper to get taxis if you walk to the bottom of the hill.

Reception/Front desk- Upon arriving we weren't greeted nor welcomed. No one offered to help us with our luggages. Room- Basically this place badly needs a renovation or make over. Nothing was changed since my last visit 7-8 years ago. Curtain/drapes not properly hanged, parts of it dangling.Don't even bother to replace missing lamp shade. Wardrobe lights faulty.Toilet- Pipe leaking. Once we had to wait till noon for make up.
