The hotel boasts a storied past, having been constructed by a retired British Army Officer in 1966, then it was purchased by its current owners in 1989 and has gained a positive reputation as an ideal getaway. Guests can enjoy an available candle light dinner at 9:30 pm, with a fine selection of a la carte dishes. Very romantic building in area of great natural beauty.

Better map with accurate times for travel!

Lake House is a delightful period house set on a very long and winding road. Although not an old facility it is full of old English charm. Rooms are very large and well appointed. We only stayed overnight but enjoyed the cool room with no air conditioning and the view over the lake. Breakfast was excellent, great choice well cooked and with attentive service.

Great staff.

there are no real cons the only thing I can think off is the beds are hard but if that is only bad point the hotel really isn't doing badly.

The hotel is not a typical Malaysian hotel. But the staff are very helpful and friendly. They serve great food and at reasonable prices. The hotel is a little remote so you will probably need your own transport to make the most of the Highlands.

Clean, quiet, freindly staff, classic style.

Its locations is in the way to the center Cameron Highlands. So it does not give the beautiful tea farms view. It is relatively in the bottom of the Highlands.

Nice, clean, stylish. Very friendly staff. I enjoyed my stay there but I have difficulty in the departure to KL is it as down in the Highlands so I had to go up by taxi to the center of the Cameron Highlands and from there to go by bus or taxi to KL. Though nice hotel, but I would not recommend it if you are interested in watching the tea farms from the window of your room.
