Super wonderful Hotel
The English ountry setting of the hotel is very beautiful, the Tudor house, the English garden, and traditional English menu were well preserved and made available for guests.

My stay at the Smokehouse Hotel was a memorable experiences. I was checked in the room in the original part of the hotel which has been opened for guests since 1937. The room itself is very well designed and maintained. Traditional English breakfast was superb,fresh orange juice, home made strawberry jam and marmalade were exceptional. The Hotel's charming English garden provided a totally relax atmosphere for my stay. In sum, the Hotel is perfecty for a person who is longs for a peacful and charming place with a sense of spledid historic style to enjoy vacation like myself.

A perfect end to a weekend travelling in Perak. For an expat is a reminder of days gone by in England even the weather and surroundings. Really relaxing bar with log fire and freindly company before a beef Wellington dinner

Really enjoyed the stay there. Its probably a 3star and despite being old and the rooms quaint it has a very nice british colonial feel. Wonderful wholesome british breakfast was of very generous size too.
At the right price (low to medium in comparison to other Hotels) it would be well worth a stay.

This is an English style hotel, but it is very old, the room is very small, and the furniture is old too, the bed is not comfort to sleep. The hotel has beautiful garden and facing the Golf Club. Unfortunately our room just near the main road, therefore it is very noisy. We may not choose this hotel again if next time to Cameron Highland.

Overrated. Expensive dining.
Cosy, Clean and great Expensive Scones. RM8.50 each!

Great attentive staffs. The hotel has got a lot of character... It's been there since 1937. But we got the rooms on the new wing so it wasn't really anything special for our romantic weekend getaway.
