lovely room but bathroom needs an upgrade

Rooms are very inviting with a day bed and a huge bed with sea view. Bathroom door was old, knackered and hard to shut. The shower curtains were dirty and we had to order toiletries as some were missing. Great resort for a quick getaway from the city but do not expect great customer service - the staff here are not known to go out of their way to help with queries. The pool was nice however there were a few kids who were not dressed in swimming attire. Pool bar was understaffed but otherwise great. Also, one of the sun canopies was blown away by strong winds and nearly hit a sun lounging tourist!
Restaurant Tip:
There's a restaurant called Don't Tell Mama at Cherating Village, which is just 5 mins drive (turn left as you exit resort). The place has games, good food and drinks and is also near the pier where nightly fireflies tour run from

Beach facilities very limited and all charges apply.
Night swim not allow in pool.
No mini market for some tea bit.
if offer some BBQ dinner package for couple or family is advantage.
Corridor out of service, very inconvenient.

nice rooms all facing beach front. quiet location at clean beach with no touristic vendors. good breakfast. ample parking. swimming pool ok only. if looking for full resort living not the place. if just nice room and rustic feel at beach front with no touristic intrusion yes

Old hotel with terrible buffet dinner

We choosed Impiana and brought our friends from Hong Kong to enjoy themselves. They room given to us was big tho old and bit worn out...but there wasnt any towels were given at all as we checked in. I called twice to request for towels(mind you extra 1 piece of towel cost you RM5 which I find ridiculous! Even REAL 5 star hotel dont charge for extra towels!)and waited 45 minutes.No towels came. We went out for late lunch and back in another 1.5hours but still no towels. I have to call again and this time after much waiting,they sent only 2 bath towels. No floor,face and hand towels. I again have to call for the rest. When the house keeping arrive they say i have to wait as there are no towels available!!! Wat???Such a big resort and they are running out of towels? Its just very basic stuff!! The water pressure in the bathroom was terribly slow and the hot and cold shower wasnt consistent!The swimming pool was really dirty. Didnt even wanna go for a 2nd swim.Our package came with buffet dinner which we had on the first night. It was terrible. Most of the food tastes terrible. Even my 11yrs old kid could tell me the food is really bad and even the soup noodle was not hot! But I would say the ambience and the staff was good. Choices of food is very very little. Dessert were repeatedly the same...butter sponge cake with different fruit topping! The worst came when our guest from oversea actually had food poisoning caused buy the noodle which consist of a piece of bad tofu (it tasted sour when he put it into his mouth). This really spoilt our and their holiday as when he returned to KL missing other good food here and visited the doctor twice. What a terrible experience.

I booked this room for my guests from overseas. Had dinner at the hotel and he had food poisoning! Really bad experience. Breakfast was food tho.

I had a pleasant stay at Impiana, Everything is perfect from the room, diner, staffs and foods.
I am truly enjoy my stay and would definitely coming back with my spouse.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Very closed to the sea.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a superior deluxe room which was very nice and spacious. Some of the room furnishings need to be upgraded. Television reception was poor and snowy. The hotel grounds and common areas were very nice. Food was nice. The beach was not suitable for swimming with surf breaking on the shore but the hotel has a pool with an in pool bar. Over all we had an enjoyable stay and would stay there again.
