Refurbished Hotel Lobby is windy and spacious. There's also piano performance at night where you can sit around and relax. The games, floats and balls available at the pool require a rental fees of RM5. The pool bar is situated outside the pool area, more accessible to the beach. The Chinese Restaurant has great promotional offer, a set dinner for 5 pax was more than enough and cost RM110 only.

We were at Swiss Garden Kuantan in June 2009. Rooms were newly furbished making it a pleasant stay. The beach was easily accessable & suitable for kite flying. Lots of shells on the beach. The hotel had a small booth for the Turtle Sanctuary Cherating so we had the opportunity to release 1 week old baby turtles into the sea! The hotel had a food promo which was simply FABOULOUS. The buffet was wide spread & local dishes were 'kampung' dishes which are not commonly found in hotels & they tasted like home-cooked food.

We booked 2 "SEA VIEW" deluxe rooms but was given a pool view instead on the 1st floor. We arrived at 2.15pm but was told that only 1 room was ready and that we have to wait another 40 mins for the other room. The CR flush in the toilet does not stop flushing once you pull the flush, water keeps flowing, The basin stopper cannot be released, the air con in 1 of the room is not working and the room is smelly (heavy cigarette smell) and after repeated calls to room service and after 45 mins then we get someone to spray some scent.

Our first trip to Swiss Garden and we will definitely want to come back. The rooms are clean and breakfast spread is good. However, the flies at the breakfast table are very irritating to us. Having lunch at the Parrot Bar with the cooling afternoon breeze is spectacular. Staff are courteous and friendly. Overall we had great fun.

The hotel is located on Pantai Balok,not too far away from Kuantan town. There were lots of guests as it was the Malaysian school holidays. We were unable to get towels from the pool counter on 2 consecutive evenings depsite having towel chits which clearly stated that only one towel per chit. On both occasions the person in charge of towels wasn't very helpful. We weren't the only ones affected- there were other families too who were not given towels. Seeing that this was peak season, I feel that the management should ensure that there are adequate number of towels for guests. Parking too was full on Satuday night after 12 midninght. Again, we occupied 2 rooms but brought only one car. While it is expected for the parking lots to be full in the evening, most restaurants are closed by midnight. Management should ensure that there are adequate parking lots- one per room, ideally. Concierge service was excellent. Courteous and Efficient despite the large crowd. Queuing system for checking in and checking out can be improved. Again a management issue. The staff were very good. All in all, a lovely place to relax and unwind but best avoided during school holidays.

i wish to come back again due to beautiful beach, a place for every family to have their holiday.Safety preserved,after all we can let your kids to go inside deep to the sea as far as 50m with only one foot deep is good for any kids to make as their own playground.Another thig, you can have a wargame, the paintball,quite reasonable price, and also boat trip along the beach as far as 1km away from the beach..enjoyable and something to remember for a holiday like this....

Great Hotel.. Nice Swimming Pool..Nice Food Especially The BBQ Dinner. Really Enjoyed The Food. Great Experiance Me And My Family. Will Recommend This Hotel And Agoda To My Friends And My Family Members.

I would suggest travellers to take up the sea view instead of the garden view rooms. The thing I love about this hotel is the balconies. With the sea view, I believe that travellers could actually enjoy the sunrise scene in the morning at the comfort of your own room. Aside from this, I love the restaurant settings by the poolside. It's great and cosy. However, the flies are quite annoying. I wonder if it is the season of flies.

The hotel had excellent service and accommodation, however, I was checked into a room that had not been cleaned up. The hotel quickly rectified the problem once notified. It was far from town and I would probably not stay there again.

We have been coming back to this hotel everytime we go to Kuantan, and the prices from Agoda are very good compared to the walk-in price. Service, cleanliness and comfort level are what we like about this place. In particular, one of the staff went out of his way to help direct us to a certain highway on the morning that we needed to go to Trengganu. He led the way on his bike for a distance that took us about an hour. Excellent service.

Beautiful long white sand beach with water sport is the main attraction to me. Deluxe room size is big enough for four adults. In case of rain you can travel to the town, the mega shopping complex is just about 20 minutes drive. Plenty of restaurants and cafes opposite the mega mall shopping complex.

Enjoyable, clean with professional staff to greet you. Very busy during our stay but still friendly atmosphere. All facilities were available. The pool was clean, the tennis court ok, the gym was good too. An overal pleasant time spent here.

We loved this resort. We had booked it and then friends told us the Hyatt was better, so when we checked out we went to see the Hyatt and it was nothing in comparison (27rm for 2 diet cokes-OMG!!! Ridiculous and a very small pool.), we would definitely go back to Swiss-Hotel. The amenities were brilliant, great location, easy to find, very much a resort that caters for everyone. Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful, everything was very clean and well looked after. You get cards for breakfast / free drink upon arrival / pool towels etc so very organised and great for knowing these things are available to you...often we find these things out AFTER a few days! We only stayed for 1 night, but could easily have stayed a few more!

Since i've stayed in this hotel previuosly the renovated rooms has given the room a better feel and comfortable feeling for the guest to stay-in. The staffs at the hotel has been slack in their duty and they need to improve otherwise the hotel will just loose more customers.
