Pool, food, evening entertainment, aircon
no king beds available, frig dirty
This is a great vacation hideaway. A ways out of town but near enough to get to for entertainment or shopping. The beach is beautiful and well maintained as are the pools. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The food, especially the buffets are outstanding in variety and quality and beautifully presented. The staff was kind and helpful too. The evening entertainment is relaxing and provides ambiance to the lounge areas. I highly recommend this as a stopping place or a place for a longer term holiday.

Nice beach next to the hotel. Good waves.
Further away from town and a car is needed to move around and see the sights.
Stayed here for a conference so I spent most of my day in their meeting room. The facilites are average. The swimming pool and gym/game room cater to families and kids. The beach is nice although the sea was rather brown - probably due to weather. The resort is further away from town and more isolated, so rent a car/taxi or drive up to ensure mobility. A number of small roadside food stalls are found outside the resort. They provide local fare and cheap. The restaurants inside the hotel tend to follow typical Malaysian style cooking so be prepared for localised versions of international cuisine. The rates from Agoda were competitive and I would stay again if the lower rates are available.
Restaurant Tip : Planet Seafood. Walk out of the hotel and turn right. It's about 10 to 15 minutes walk and has cheap food. Reasonably hygienic.

The Hotel is close to Kuantan Port where most of my busniness is when I am in Kuantan.
The Hotel is situated right on the beach, where it is possible to swimm in the sea, right from the beach.
The Hotel is far away from Kuantan town, very difficult to get at taxi here if you want to go anywhere.
The internet in the room is very bad.
The Hotle is situated right on a nice clean beach, staff is friendly and helpfull. Even though the guys at the beach side - towel place and the guy in the Beach Bar seems very lazy, and do not pay much attention to their jobs.
The internet in the Hotel is not good enough, most of the time the signal is not strong enough to work from the Hotel via internet.
The Spa center is quite expensive compared with other Spa centers.

I quite liked the hotel, the service is good, people friendly and a nice beach with lots of activiteis to keep you busy. Nice hotel for honeymoon couples. Not necessary for familie though. The Samsara spa has got good oil massage and the quality is good too.I got an upgrade to seaview room after complaining that my room was right above the rubbish dump during my previous visit. The view was good, overlooking the pool and sea.The breakfast was just ok but the variety is bad. What scares me is the amount of flies in the restaurant, everywhere, on the pastries, on the tables. It is so unhygienic.I was surpised with the amount of foreigners saying in this hotel,I did not hear any complains that morning although one of them did imply from the look on his face. The restaurants opens late, so a midnight supper when you are hungry is available.I won't say this is a really good hotel but in Panatai balok, it is and not too far from town.
Restaurant Tip : Try the nasi dagang at a stall near the petronas station. Its good

Staff service was excellent.
A nice hotel located on a broad flat beach, good pick-up service; attentive and pleasant reception and other staff throughout the hotel. The beach area and swimming pool are well laid out and are very enjoyable. The swimming pool is, luckily for me, not too deep so you can easily stand anywhere. Food is very good as well with a very nice.
Travel tip : Good massage. Fantastic poolside. Fantastic seaside.

the beach is just wonderful. so peaceful and quiet!
breakfast in hotel should be improve. it look a like wet market.guest has no choice.there are no other restaurant for breakfast, and down town open very late around 11ish. and most of all its too far to drive to downtown for breakfast. taxi fare higher then k.L
if you not interesting shopping mall or any other activities while you staying then this(kuantan) is simply the best place. coz there are barely nothing for holiday attractions.
Hotel Feature Tip : town is quite far but if you want to get a nice spa then its worthy to try out. a very good and much reasonable price.

Getting very comfortable. Thus extend another week
If only they have covered or basement carparks!
The stay was getting better. Staffs are great. Minus the inconvenience of carpark. still manage to enjoy my two weeks. Will be back again.
Hotel Feature Tip : Just lay around the beach whole day. Eat there too. Order their mania pizzas and other food. and enjoy yourself

The facilities were good, especially the games room which kept the older children occupied. The cabanas at the poolside provide some cool shelter from the blistering sun.
The flies were horrible, flying among the food at the buffet table. No beach activities available, at least not during this particular week-end.
We had quite a pleasant stay at the resort but it could have been better if not for the hundreds of flies at the coffee-house. They were all over the food at the buffet table eventhough efforts were taken to light repellant candles. Maybe the hotel should pay more attention to hygiene and garbage disposal. We were there during the Hari Raya holidays which could account for the water-sports not opened and the food and beverage outlets being short-staffed. Being an international class hotel, the management should ensure that there are sufficient staff at all times to manage the hotel so as not to inconvenience their guests. After all, they do charge higher room rates for public holidays.

the sea breeze always amazes me.
they forget that they have to keep the beach very clean too
I suggest that they put more dustbins at the beach area.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Just lie down ont eh bench and look out towards the sea. The view is amazing . and together with the wind blowing in your face under the sun or even the moon you will feel a whole lot of love in the air.

Great buffets at swiss kuantan. compared to all other hotels in that region. no wonder they are always full
The flys that is so annoying. But swiss garden is great they actually provide the anti- fly candles on your table.
Dont worry about the flys swiss garden has the solution. But do not expect from any other restaurants around the vicinity. I got food poison when i eat out
Restaurant Tip : Just eat in the hotel. They have great varieties too

Room was spacious and clean. Love the pool. Great restaurant.
Problems with room access card. Need to re-programme ours twice. Front desk staff informed cards were sensitive, even keeping it next to handphone would caused default.
Open-carpark was a bit inconvenient especially on a rainny day.
Room was clean and spacious. We had a room with both garden and seaview, really nice. Private beach and a great pool. Stafff were friendly and helpful. Only problem was the super-sensitive room accesscard, which we need to re-programme twice. Even keeping it next to handphone could caused default. Open-carpak was a bit inconvenient especially on a rainny day.

Good hotel layout.
Beautiful lobby design
Polite staffs
poor internet service with intermittern network connection.
A bit far from town
I had spent 2 days 1 night with my family members in Swiss garden Cherating. The lobby is pretty nice and luxury. Overall, very good hotel layout. Staffs are showing full hospitability. We enjoy our stay and sure will go back again.
Restaurant Tip : Very famous chinese seafood restaurant with reasonable price.

- Room is spacious and clean
- Location is good
- Staff is friendly
- Beach is good for kids
- Seaview rooms at level 2 and level 3 is actually "pool view". The seaview is blocked by the tress.
- Pool size is a bit small.
- Breakfast menu did not change for our stay of 3 nights.
- Restaurant menu with limited choice.
Stayed there for 3 nights during the recent school holiday. Booked a seaview room but were disappointed when we found out the rooms at level 2 and level 3 did not have any seaview at all. The sea was blocked by the trees along the beach. So dont waste your money on seaview room. Or insist for room at level 4. Other than little glitch, overall, it is a nice hotel for family. Kids will love the sandy beach. The beach is shallow for quite a distance, and it's full of hermit crabs. So kids will have endless fun to run along the beach, and catching the hermit crabs.
We dined in the hotel most of the time and were disappointed with the food. The stir fried keuy teow in cantonese style was the saltiest dish that i ever had. The set dinner offered at chinese restaurant(Blosom?) was pricey and of poor quality.
However, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
